Have visited this restaurant for many years.....and it just gets better ...and amazing value for money by a long way! The cheapest set menu can't be beaten in the area and the staff / owners are always very welcoming and helpful.

Good restaurant in Port-Vendres. Great seafood as expected. Friendly service and very good grand chou (bit like a profiterole)

Ate here one lunchtime after a walk up to and back from the semaphore. To be honest it was OK, what we have was nothing outstanding - a seafood plate with a glass of wine for €10.50 was seemed reasonable value but the quality wasn't what we were hoping for. Still, it was full and obviously a popular place for... More

Took our French visitors here, Wish we hadn't bothered, We were promptly seated but then waited ages for the waitress to take our order, We Heard a man on another table who arrived after us complain to the waitress about the slow service, Food finally arrived I had the fish soup and it was the worst fish soup I have... Stopped in the town on the way to Banyuls. Lack of parking in the centre drew us to almost outside the resteraunt. Welcomed in to an excellent lunch. Three courses for 15 euros! Fish of the day was either lemon sole or sea bass. Fresh and perfectly cooked. We always enjoy serendipity in our choice of resterant and we were... More

Prices looked good but the food was poor quality and wasn't cooked properly. Meat dish of the day was mignons of porc which arrived rare and bloody. Fish courses were ok but nothing special. Much better places available locally

Went there for dinner with a group of six persons, some of them locals who selected this place. Good and friendly service and clearly above average seafood standard. I personally found the squid with small pieces of chorizo a surprisingly attractive new experience. On the other side of the harbor and the main promenade but only a few minutes walk.... More

We are staying in an apartment on the other side of the marina from this restaurant - 5 minutes walk. Welcome was excellent Service was superb - we were shown on a platter the fish of the day. We both had seabass (Bar) grilled as our main course and it was some of the best we had ever eaten. The... More

I nipped in here after visiting the Charles Rennie Mackintosh centre. The centre was closed but a nice lunch here made up for it. 20 euro for three courses with wine and coffee. i started with the assiette de matelot, which was two oysters, two big whelks, a clam and some prawns, served with mayo and red wine vinegar. then... My wife and I came here on a Friday night, 16th April 2010. We had even booked as we had been warned it was a good place to go. What a disappointment, we were the only couple there from start to finish, we left at 9 so it may have had an influx later. Compared to the others we walked... More
