Thank you very much. Always a pleasure to have you in our place.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant, the host was a fantastic lady who made our visit so welcoming. The food was superb, every dish we had was perfect, and the setting was very pretty too.
Thank you very much. It has been a pleasure to serve you.
We went to Chez Gilles on recommendation from the lady at our hotel. Great food, very friendly hostess whose language skills are amazing, effortlessly switching languages at each table. Food was excellent as was the wine. We’ll be back!
Hi David. Sorry to answer you so late. I just got your report. I don’t know why I didn’t see it earlier. Anyway Thank you.
My wife and I went to this beautiful restaurant three times in as many days because we pretty much knew no matter what we ordered would taste as good as the first meal we had at Chez Gilles. Not only the food but the homely...atmosphere it presented itself with, a lovely woman who had a great way of making you feel welcome with her great outgoing personality and sense of humour, and of course her husband who delivered meals at the highest standard you would expect at a world class restaurant. My name is Robbie and Wife is Bernie, together we say thanks so much for what you served us with for the three times we visited your amazing restaurant. I feel I could sing French songs every time I was there.More
Thank you very much Robbie and Bernie. We appreciated your humour all the three times you came to us. See you next year
Very good food, the fishsoup was amazing. The service was very good. A lady (I think is the wife of Chef Gilles), go to every table to discuss with clients.
Thank you very much Dan.
For more than 15 years chez gilles have been our number one in Tolo. Excellent food, excellent wines, excellent service, we jusst love to come here. Always something new to try but my classic is moules frittes, try it. Look forward to return each time...we leave!More
Thank you very much Claus. Always a pleasure to serve you.
Very good food, tender meat and very welcoming service. We had lamb souvlaki, fishsoup and steak, everything very well prepared.
Thank you very much for your comment
Great food and service. Third time staying in Tolo first time here. Wish I found this restaurant years ago out standing.
Thank you very much Paul.
We walked past this restaurant a number of times during the first week of our holiday during the day and thought we’d visit it. Our biggest mistake was we waited too long. First visit, when we met the wonderful Maria, the problem was what to...choose as there were so many dishes we wanted to eat. I fancied mussels for a starter, but it was on the main course choices . Not a problem, you can have it as a starter and what a bowl full when it came. My wife had Feta in orange sauce. Then one of mains on the specials board was cuttlefish with black rice. I’d never had cuttlefish so I thought I’d have that. Unfortunately, they had run out so Maria suggested I could have calamari with black rice instead which was fabulous. The other main was chicken masala, another winner. We decided to visit two days later when the mains were Cuttlefish with black rice and a steak. As we left, we said we’d be back the following night, being our last and when we went into the restaurant, there on the table where we’d sat before was a reserved sign. Steaks for both of us tonight and beautifully cooked by Gilles. The meal here is not just food, Maria works the tables like no one I’ve seen before. Stopping, chatting, joking. It’s more of an experience with fine dining. Gilles slaves away in the kitchen, open to the restaurant providing exquisite food. We mentioned that we’d got friends at home with a similar name and Maria gave us a bottle of Chez Gilles red to take home. I can say we toasted you and thought of you when we drank it wishing we were back in Tolo. Without hesitation, we thought this was the best restaurant in Tolo.More
Thank you very much for being a chez Gilles restaurant member. We also enjoyed your visit. We hope that you come back again
Excelent and very polite service, the food was absolutely delicious and with reasonable prices! Great atmosphere that makes you feel like home We stayed in Tolo for a week and visited the restaurant 3 times!
Thank you very much. We hope to see you soon
We have just visited Chez Gilles restaurant and I have to write this review because all meals as well as the kind service was excelent. And the gold winner were the Michelin desserts at the end of delicious dinner party!
thank you very much Stanley
We ate at Chez Gilles twice and had great food and service both times. It is relaxed and a great combination of friendly Greek service and good French cooking. The shellfish are very much recommended in whatever form along with the lamb souvlaki. Their house...rose wine is also pretty special.More
Thank you very much Loretta
Delicious! The food was yummy in a relaxing and pretty locale. We had fries and mussels and apricot lamb. The “moules frites” was to die for. A huge portion of juicy mussels in a pot. The chef is French and he cooks all to order....They make a wonderful home made refreshing lemonade also. Served in a small pitcher. We finished the meal with a frozen “vacherin” dessert (meringues with strawberries sherbet and cream). A+ all of it.More
Thank you very much
A nice and quiet place ,at the beginning of the main street of Tolo, something that we preferred. All dishes were tasteful. A little higher prices than average. The lady owner is friendly but sometimes a bit more chatty than needed.
Thank you very much
Good quality food in an nice atmosphere. The French owner and cook serves a mix of Greek and French dishes. His Greek wife is the very entertaining face of the restaurant. Worthwhile visiting!
Thank you very much
