Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped for lunch, the man slave had a burger that was so moist the juices dripped and it was huge! I had the smoked salmon and cream cheese pitta, not served how I expected it but delicious and plentiful all the same. Took away some...delectable cheesecake for letter. What a hidden gem.More

While attending an Irish Language Course here in July, we mostly had the pleasure of dining here on a daily basis. Plenty choice and variety with the menu, very reasonable prices but most importantly the staff were extremely pleasant, polite and friendly. Thanks to all.

We went for lunch, and we were amazed by the variety of food and especially for vegans and vegetarian, the chief was more than happy to help. The service , outstanding ! We were greeted with a very warm welcome and the restaurant was spotlessly...clean with alcohol sanitation at each table and tables well spaced . Well done to all the staff ! Keep you the fantastic work ! Food exceptional !!More

Went for lunch on Saturday - we weren't going to go in at first as the carpark was rammed with cars and we thought we wouldn't get a table but there were lots of tables so don't be put off by the number of cars,...not quite sure where all the people were. Anyway it's a beautiful, quaint little place. Vert friendly and attentive staff and the food was delicious. Will be back.More

We stopped off for coffee and dessert before visiting the Folk Village. The staff were friendly checked our Covid passes and ID's and recorded our names at the table we dined at. Fully Covid compliant and we were happy in the Cook's Pantry. Coffees were...good and the Apple Crumble and Ice Cream hit the spot. The decor is really tasteful and adds to the ambience of the place. Bathrooms were perfect and one felt they were checked on a regular basis. This is definitely a place to visit when in this part of Donegal.More

It was a misty, drizzly say and we had been driving from Killybegs around Malin Beg enjoying the beautiful scenery. By the time we arrived at Glencolumbkille we had pretty good appetites. The food here is delicious. Their Chowder is outstanding and you HAVE to...treat yourself to the yummy Carrigeen dessert - possibly my highlight dish from our Donegal holiday!More

I can't remember if the menu had vegetarian items, but the chef was very personable and accommodating and I'm certain he would prepare a wonderful vegetarian dish if you asked.
