Quite a good lunch, bit slow but that's OK when it's good. Service fine and we had a nice time. Dog could go with us too which makes it even better.

Very atmospheric relaxed and comfortable. A short walk along the canal is a must too. A rustic menu all in all better than an old greasy spoon.

Went for family lunch, nice atmosphere, good food (would like more veggie), good service. Not a bad price. Will go again. Jx

We came here on Boxing day for some dinner, stunning location next to the canal with a large car parking area, we ordered two turkey dinners for our family friends, and for Keith & I we both had traditional fish and chips, we cannot tell you how delicious the meals were, the fish and chips were just perfect, we were... Visited The Moorings on Real Ale crawl with the lads. If you are a Cask Ale fan - don't bother. After waiting over 5 minutes to be served, we saw all bar one ale was available. Plenty of your regular rubbish though. The IPA we had was the worst pint we had all day. The pub is definitely more targeted... More

The moorings has the advantage of being in the canal basin and is very popular especially in the summer. The pub itself is lovely and the food is good and averagely priced. However the drinks prices let this place down massively. Sowerby Bridge is a smallish village but with a large quantity of reasonably priced pubs/bars. Moorings I would say... More

Randomly popped in here for lunch with my family one saturday and was very pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and excellent pub food. There were four of us and we each had different meals, all of which were very good. I'd recommend this pub for lunch any time if our experience is anything to go by. PS... there was... More

Called into the Moorings with a few friends, staff were an absolute pleasure... drinks may have been a tad expensive but the atmosphere was lovely and the area very picturesque. Food that was going out looked amazing. Lovely pub set in picturesque surroundings with great staff.

I my wife treated me to really nice lunch. The place is hard to spot off the main road but soon as we found it. Hard to find a parking space. But on the really good side walking into place with a wow factor. After the devastation of the floods last boxing day this place has done really well to... More

Middle of the road is all we could say really. Good enough but certainly nothing to write home about.
