Lovely old country pub near Crowborough where staff were friendly and attentive. Very good freshly cooked food. A real plus for us was that they cater for people who are gluten intolerant.

This pub is pleasant enough. It has a good selection of ales and ciders and serves home-cooked food, with variable success. The menu is not extensive and is okay, but not special or particularly good from a culinary viewpoint.

Visited for the second year for a Christmas Lunch with a local Charity organisation. The pub is a great location, old style, log fires, easy parking. Food very good and service prompt and organised. A good welcoming experience.
