La Feuille de Chou is a small restaurant in the centre of the village of Les Vans in Ardèche. The place is always packed (only 8 tables) and one must reserve a few days ahead in summer. The food is traditional French with a twist. I love their cold appetizer the "rillettes de sardines", a mix of mashed sardines in... More

Didier St. André is the chef. My friend Regis is the waiter. The food is always fresh and good. I do not hesitate to recommend this place. But beware of the double entendre of the name of the restaurant.

Delicious, fresh. Welcoming staff. Intimate dining room. Glorious olives on arrival. Great plats de jours. Never disappointing.

Eaten here many times in recent years and it is still one of the nicest places in the village. The food is always fresh and beautifully cooked. The staff are friendly and helpful. Service was a little slow that's why not a 5.

While looking for another restaurant that turned out to be closed, my friend and I found this little gem. The freshest food with organic ingredients and delicious fish and duck and house wine, made this a wonderful treat in the Provence area.

At here at Easter for the first time and returned again in September. Again the food was excellent...especially the frog's legs. It's small, although you are not sat too close to the next table. The food is freshly cooked from local ingredients, so when something is gone, it's gone. We all enjoyed our food and the wine from the small... More

This restaurant is very special. Very small location (I would estimate approx. 10-12 tables) with a small card - which I always prefer. The location itself is very nice decorated and unique. The staff is very friendly. Many local citizens of Les Vans eat at that restaurant. The atmosphere was really special. I had the impression like an old good... More

A lovely little restaurant with a great choice of quality food and very good service. Centrally located in Les Vans and bookable tables.

We visited A Feuille de Chou several times during the past 3 years. The limited menu, although enough choise, is worth trying. The cook as well as the staff made us feel comfartable. Will be certainly visiting more often!

A quaint small and cosy restaurant with local art on its walls serving excellent food. Friendly owner and kitchen staff, good choice of wines to accompany their menus. We go there every time we're in the area and shall continue to do so!!
