Been here a few times with parents in law that live in the area. Free glass of fizz given to the Mothers today. A nice treat for them. Always does a high quality Roast with a few other main choices and today was no different....More

Decided to try the Sunday lunch as several people had recommended it to us. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, service friendly and efficient and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant which was fully booked.

The Durant Arms benefits from the fact that it is the only pub in the village, but I must say that for pub style and ambience I prefer the Watermans just a 20 minute walk down the road (see separate review). Take away that comparison...More
