I own a house locally and always visit Sandrino's when I am there The food, atmosphere and staff are all first rate and we had another tremendous evening If you are visiting Northern Tuscany, be sure to eat here!

It is always such a great pleasure to return here with good friends for a fantastic evening of the best food that Tuscany offers. I’ve been coming here for many years and it gets better every time.
We visit the area regularly from the UK and visit Sandrinos every time (sometimes twice in a weekend) and it never fails to disappoint. The quality of the food is extraordinary and the portions substantial. The papardelle con lepre (hare) is just a feast; the...gnocchi melt-in-the-mouth and the cinghiale (wild boar) sensational. The sparkling wine by the glass or carafe is very good and ridiculously priced (one wonders why we pay £7.50 for a glass of average quality wine in the UK). We have often come across visitors from 30 or 40 miles away - and the concentration of Italian diners speaks for itself. Cannot think of anything to fault it!More
We visited this restaurant for dinner twice. Both the pasta dishes and the meat dishes were really good and tasty and of high quality and there was also a very welcoming atmosphere. A place you really want to visit again.
There are many good restaurants in this area but in my opinion you don’t eat better food than here. The staff is super friendly and the service is excellent. I strongly recommend a vist, don’t forget to reserve a table before you go.
We’ve been eating at Sandrino’s for years. It’s simply the best place to eat in the area. Excellent fast and friendly service and food is sublime especially when you consider the cost. Go. You won’t regret it.
We had a nice evening at Trattoria Sandrino. The food is excellent and all the stuff is friendly. I recommend it and, yes, it is one of the best Trattoria in the area.
Excellent place, but you'll have to reserve a place because it is not open every day and it is quite popular. Note: IT IS NOT OPEN ON ALL DAYS
Five of us ate for 100 Euro, didn't drink much if anything because I was driving. We had six appetizers and then also a main course. We passed everything around and a good, authentic Italian experience. I like the setting. We sat outside but inside...is also nice. There is a pond with ducks. It was packed, luckily we "knew someone".More
Great meal as ever - have visited this restaurant many times and it never disappoints. The pasta is always sensational and such good value.
Excellent food fantastic service! Everything on the menu is quality and tastes fantastic I am amazed that such good food at such low prices is available in 2017 Attilio the owner makes everyone feel special and his hard working staff deserve the praise too Can't...wait to go backMore
If you like meat and a great steak, come here!! This is a quaint, charming, authentic restaurant. Great food, great service and worth the trip. You will not be disappointed in the choices you will have to choose from. Really wonderful!
The place was recommended to us by a local and he was surely right! The restaurant is simple and has a real Tuscany atmosphere. The food is traditional, fresh and well cooked. We had nothing to complain even with the price which was really honest!...If you want to eat the real Fiorentina this is of course the right place!More
This is a lovely family restaurant where booking is essential as the food is so good. Forget a menu and just go with the recommendations of the day - pasta then a main was more than enough for us! Chef even came out to say...hello! Can't wait to go back!!More
Went with friends and their family to this restaurant. The owner was friendly, the waitress was great and the food was amazing. Because we were a large group, we tried everything and there wasn't one thing I was disappointed with. For a short trip out...of Lucca, I can say I'll definitely go back.More
