What an absolutely wonderful and delightful place 😍 The folk are really friendly and helpful and I can't fault this place on anything except they don't have any nicknacks you can buy as a momento of the visit lol. Words cannot describe the feeling of...timelessness, tranquility and awe-inspiring visit we had. There's been some serious thought, time and effort put into it and it's certainly paid off. If you have any sort of imagination you can spend ages looking around here and get lost in stories of trolls, gnomes, faeries, gargoyles and Griffin's. As for the baking, again it's out of this world! The buns and cookies are so tasty and the sizes are not small! All I can say is that you really must make this place a definite on your to visit list! If we're ever back in this area we will be back!More

Great food the sweet and savoury cookies were all freshly baked it was hard not to over eat they all looked and tasted so good.

We planned a portion of our vacation in Scotland around being able to stay near Manuela's Wee Bakery! I discovered the bakery last summer on a trip to Scotland and was totally enchanted by the fairytale buildings and gardens but the quality of the food...is beyond delicious. The savory cookies are perfect for a lasting breakfast treat but the pretzel baguettes make a wonderful afternoon snack after a day of sightseeing. And don't get me started on the shortbread...yummy! I hope the nice young lady behind the register has a very nice trip to Texas and Louisiana next year. Oh and if you and your parents want to open a "branch" in Colorado we are totally open to the idea! We will definitely be back next time we are in Scotland!More

The bakery is a bit off the beaten track. But worth a detour. They have plenty of delicious pastries. There is also a pizza bakery. Check the opening schedule before you go. Parking is limited.

Great and friendly staff. Lovely bakery lots of choice and such a cute little stop. There is a distillery also on site with a shop you can visit too.

Fabulously quirky setting and delicious bespoke cookies, with a friendly welcome. Manuela has a “secret” dough which is deliciously different - I would describe it as a superb cross between a cake, a biscuit, and a pizza base. Her cookie additions/toppings are also deliciously different....There is an outside seating area (no inside seats) with breathtaking views, which my wife and I could hardly tear ourselves away from, whilst we ate, drank our coffee, and chatted to the owners. The family dwelling house plus garden in a lovely small village setting has been turned into a fairy glen, with a series of bespoke but similarly designed small fairy outbuildings, each containing a different part of the family business - a bakery, a distillery, Jo’s Pizza place, an outside toilet, and an outside seating area with bar and shopfront for their produce. We went home with cookies, gin, and rum!More

My wife and i were staying in Dornie and saw that we could walk to the wee bakery as their website really looked intriguing. It's amazing on the website but even more so in real life. The staff were all so very friendly and took...time out to chat about the Bakery/Brewery/Pizza that is there. Such delicious and exciting new food that i hadn't come across before. Great atmosphere. Would recomend if you are local or driving past in the area. My wife bought one of the absinthe available and she can't wait to have an excuse to drink it. Amazing!!More

We are staying not far from this bakery, we have bought tasty bread, lunch snacks and sweet bakes. All taste delicious.

We had been before two years ago and could not wait to go back this year. So far in our fortnight holiday we have been three times and will be going again more than once before we go. Went quite late in the day so not much was left (which is a good sign I suppose!). We got the last cheese bun with a bit of help from the owner. It was delicious, probably the best one I had so far (the average...German bakery doesn’t even come close to it). The place took us a tiny bit to find but it’s not too far off. Good service!More

This is the most delicious and adorable bakery ever. Absolutely 10/10 for all the baked goods and the views of the quirky and charming buildings on site! I thought the accident-prone witch was hilarious! Will definitely be back for more Mediterranean cookies.

I just cannot even begin to describe this place! It's as if you have entered into another world! It's darling and the food is 'to die for' delicious! We happened upon this place by accident and boy are we glad we did. This would be...a great stop for those with children or not! Absolutely brilliant in every way! The owners built all the buildings themselves and make the exquisite goods as well. We drove 2 hours before we stopped talking about it! A MUST SEE!More
