We visited this quaint tearoom during the Shoreham Open Gardens Event. We did receive a very friendly welcome but there was a very long wait for the order to be taken, for the drinks to arrive. Then we waited for our sandwiches to arrive and we waited and we waited. I worked out the sequence in which the orders had... More

Went in for afternoon tea with friends. Cosy environment filled with plenty of gifts for purchase. Ample hot water available to top up the pot. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches. Friendly helpful service. Parking available in the road or free car park available 100 yds further on. Toilet available. Accessible for disabled people through the entrance (which is a... More

We had been for a walk along the river on a blowy day and fancied a hot drink. The Honry Pot beckoned us in. What a lovely quaint little cafe. The hot chocolate was devine and the selection of homemade cakes was mouthwatering. They also serve light lunches which looked inviting. The background music was just right for the era... More

We were on a walk and popped in here for tea and cake as well as toilet. Lovely cafe, nice cake and tea and polite staff. Recommended.

My husband and I Decided to stop off and have tea and cake, the place looked really lovely and quaint. Clientele I think was largely locals. Tea and cake was nice but nothing better or worse than anywhere else. Noticed other people paid on leaving the tea room, we were asked to pay when food was delivered! Was this because... More

Popped in with a friend while out for a walk. Nice place, lovely friendly people. However, food was average and relatively expensive. Service is also a little on the slow side as the ladies do like a chat. That's a nice touch but if you are time limited it could get irritating.

Stopped for a bite to eat on our walk around Shoreham. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and food was lovely and fresh. Water bowl was offered for our dog which was a lovely touch.

Not the best quality food by any standard, shop bought bread and cake it seemed at tea shop prices. Service was very slow as the women running the place were prioritising a table of, presumably, their friends whilst gossiping. Had to ask to order a couple of times and then ask where our food was. Disappointing.
