We have been visiting this hotel for the last 25 years, and we used to love it. Sadly, with the new owners, the quality has plummeted. Whilst the food remains excellent, why should I stay in a room with no heating, (November!), dodgy plumbing, pealing wallpaper,...More

Well we are Americans and do not speak French but the waiter was patient but not overly happy. We recruited others from our hotel to help with the menu. Overall food was great as well as service!

Booked a table for 9, all took a set 4 course menu. The lobster for starters was OK (a bit plain) but the main course, coquilles St Jaques, were, in my opinieonderzoek, ‘petongles’ i.e lookalikes of the smaller and less tastier kind. I felt I...More

It is ok that Walter insist on serving the Wine - but it is unacceptable that he take the wine and only serve it, when he has time to serve it. Glad that I asked for rare beef. I wonder how a well done beef...More

Apparently the chef worked at the two star in the next place, and boy does it show. Simply fabulous food, and, as you would expect, outstanding choice of wines. Not smart but worth a detour.

We were staying nearby and were recommended dinner here- a good recommendation! Set menu €30 for 3 courses including canapes and an amuse bouche. This is a slightly dated restaurant in a tiny but charming village. The food was good and reasonably priced the mushroom...More

The restaurant was almost filled to capacity so it was fortunate that we made a reservation. We have eaten here on several occasions and have always enjoyed the experience- both the food and the ambiance. The decor is sparse but pleasant and the tables are...More
