We came to try but left uninspired by the menu and ambience without ordering. So I can't comment on the food. It looked very pricey by other standards and the environment wasn't up to it. We noticed 3 other westerners who ended up eating in the same alternative restaurant as us too that evening.

The seafood is delicious as are the veggies, we tried shrimps, squid, lobster, fish (no idea which one, but great recommendation by restaurant owner). She assists all foreigners in making the right choices according to their taste. She made us discover new things, we came back several times.

Was really disappointed in my meal here last night. I was dining alone and after I ordered and waited quite some time, I started to suspect my order was never put in. All the tables around me received their food, and all had arrived/ordered quite a bit later than me, and had ordered more given they were larger parties. I... More

The two of us ordered the recommended fish, the fried noodle, a rice and two beers. And the cost was 366,000 dong. If you don't imagine how much this amount is, one dish of rice noodle is 20,000 ~ 40,000 dong in other restaurants. The fish was very good. But, I don't know if it is worth that money. Most... More

Thu Ba is simply the best seafood restaurant on Con Son. On both occasions we visited it was very busy, but we were made to feel welcome. The menu is extensive, with English translations, but it is worth asking the staff for their recommendations; it will not disappoint! The stir fry spinach with garlic was a highlight, as was the... Had a delicious seafood salad here. It was enormous and the service was brilliant - really great English is spoken and everyone very friendly. Probably the best meal I had in Con Son.

Con Son has very few restaurants and people flock to this one because it is ranked as one of the best. Unfortunately it is really just very very mediocre. Very friendly staff but good was not very good.

We had dinner here and were surprised of the well English speaking lady that could give us good recommendation about the food. We tried fish with good spices and loved it. One should really try it, the taste was amazing!

Wanted a change from hotel food (and prices) so gave this place a try. Clientele a mixture of foreigners and Vietnamese. Owner speaks excellent English so she can explain menu or suggest variations etc. Had calamari fritters to start - very light and (mostly) not chewy. Then grilled tigers prawns with butter garlic sauce and fish steamed in banana leaf... More
