Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating in a cooking class with Yoko, where we produced the most delicious meal (salmon & vegetables in miso sauce, beans with silken tofu & sesame dressing, miso soup & pickles). I was really happy with what I learnt & felt Yoko was very thorough in her explanations of ingredients & techniques. We also... More

We enjoyed the "home cooking" class with Yoko and fabulous driver and assistant Isabelle. Yoko was wonderful with her ability to explain and demystify many of the ingredients of Japanese cooking. We were able to select the menu from a range of choices and then sat around chatting and enjoying our food before Isabelle dropped us back to our accommodation.

This was the dining highlight of our CNY week in Niseko. Isabelle, our host, and Kamada san, our personal Sushi master were fantastic. We came back to our room at the Vale after a post ski drink and the dining table had been perfectly set for the 7 of us. The real surprise was that when I ordered through Tess... More

Had a wonderful cooking lesson with Yoko and her helper Isabelle. What an absolutely fantastic experience. I had the pleasure of joining 3 other lovely ladies to learn some basics and cook a wonderful meal. Fun, informative day and perfect for those that are looking for an activity outside the snow sports arena!

Fantastic experience, well worth it to have Kamada Sushi Master come to our accomodation for our group including 2 kids. After a day skiiing, Kamada and host were great with the young boys, preparing a mix of cooked, vegetarian and raw sushi and explaining how to eat and even sorting the music for us. With the generous Sukiyaki to follow,... More

Tess and her team at Niseko Gourmet (NG) went above and beyond my expectations. Tess listened to my needs and ran with it personalising it along the way. Everything about the meal was special from the thoughtful decorations, fantastic food and knowledge and professional staff. I would highly recommend NG to anyone looking for something special.

Niseko Gourmet made our trip with family and friends truly amazing, as we were a huge party of 17 (including teenagers and young kids) spending Christmas in Niseko, and it was a treat having cooked meals at the comfort of our accommodation at The Orchards. The gourmet meal on our first night (dec 19) was truly a warm welcome after... More

Very convenience pick up and drop off service. Knowledgeable and kind teacher made the lesson one easy to re-create these dishes as home. The product knowledge we gained was very useful, i often feel bewildered in an Asian supermarket. Highly recommend but loved the supermarket visit we did within the lesson a few years ago.

I learnt to cook gyoza, miso soup and pickles amongst other things. Yoko was a great teacher, with lots of little tips you don't get from recipes. Had a fantastic time!

Amazing food and service. Just what we needed after 10 hours of powder skiing. Local Cheeses, Local Amazing Scallops, an amazing array of vegetables with the slow cooked lamb, and a creme brûlée which my 10 yo loved.

Thank Christopher M
