I am travelling alone, and was looking to 'treat' myself to a nice dinner. This fit the bill! Tucked back down an alley, it's hard to find, but worth it. I went without a reservation at 7:30 on a Friday, and they fit me in. Only buffet was available, but everything on it was fresh and delicious. The ambiance is... More

One thing I really missed in Tobago were vegetables and salads! The food at the Kariwak is all freshly made and has delicious salads - so good I had to return several times to have the same dish! The setting is lovely and peaceful, the area clean and staff friendly. There is a car park at the venue, so visiting... More

Excellent grilled fish dinner with local side dishes and local beer to wash it down, all for less than US$20. Maybe I was spoiled as I had the entire kitchen and serving staff to my own,... More

stayed in apartments next to the Kariwak but never visited , even though I have been to Togago 4 times. We have had lunch recently and been surprised by the quality of food at this restaurant. Great service, quiet location. Mahi mahi was so good to remember.

Reservations required; paid $168TT for soup, salad, entree and dessert. Food was tasty and well made. Ambiance was very nice and service was excellent. Good soup, goat cheese salad, Mahi-Mahi fish with rice and plantain (plantain was a little dry)

Ate here for the buffet dinner. The setting was amazing and the waiting staff were brilliant. Really recommend the spiced tea - and save room for the dessert.
