This is one of my favorite Tico restaurants. A plate full of rice and beans, salad, plantains and chicken, beef or fish cost us less than a meal at McDonald's and was fresher, healthier and more filling/satisfying. Many of the spices, herbs and veggies are grown by the owners. A family run business, you will feel like family or close... More

We visited Las Delicias following the recommendation of our hotel hosts (Lucky Bug B&B). What a find! Do not get mislead by its location next to the 142 road. The place looks simple, is nicely decorated with plants and the food is delicious. We had a chicken and a fish casado (in the picture), the common local dish served with... More

Wow, The food is amazing and staff are warm and welcoming. We had the prawns and tilapia filet in garlic and we were blown away by the quality and taste. Portions are big. Location is incorrect on trip adviser. I have asked for this to be corrected.

Always welcoming, Las Delicias has great Tico food for a great price. Berta serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never had a bad meal here and my favorite is the chicken casado. We also stop for the cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls weekly.

We ate here on three different occasions while on a week's stay in Costa Rica. The food was outstanding every time. But the service and the laughs that we had were just as good. Berta, Shindy and everyone were great.

Very typical Costa Rican restaurant. I have had both breakfast and lunch and enjoyed both very much, and such a great value for the large amount of food you get, so if on a budget, this is the place in Nuevo Arenal.

We were recommended this soda by our hotel in Nuevo Arenal and we're not disappointed. A warm welcome and a cold drink was followed by some fantastic food. The marlin with mango and avocado was so good! In fact, it was so good that, unusually for us, we went back again a couple of nights later. Different dishes but just... More

This is a great local soda in Nuevo Arenal. We have eaten multiple times over the years and it has always been good. It is worth your time to stroll through the garden out back. My main reason for writing this review is they now have fresh baked cinnamon rolls and a two-cheese bread available. They were wonderful! They are... More

Seldom empty, great home cooked meals. Really isn't Tico food at all. Pork Chop and mashed potatoes, chips and guacamole, BLT, cold beer. All done up very well. Portions are large and hot food is hot and the cold stuff cold. The owner will be glad to show you the huge garden out back where most (maybe all) of her... More
