Yasu is a Japanese man who cooked in London, New York and tokyo. He did great innovative fusion cuisine but he has closed the restaurant. Pity for us, good for him!

This sort of culinary experience would be amazing anywhere, but it is totally unexpected in a secluded valley like Vilcabamba. The setting and view adds to the experience, which would be unforgettable at any location. However, reservations are hard to come by, particularly given that...More

Ridiculously good food at a ridiculously good price. I almost never give 'excellent'as a rating but this was the only rating for Yuso

Yes, it is also about the incredible location of this restaurant: perched on top of a knoll overlooking the whole Vilcabamba valley, the Mandango mountain (sleeping Inca) and Podocarpus. It is like looking through a wide-angle lens and everywhere you look is gorgeous. The dining...More

Hands down the finest food in Vilcabamba. Open twice a week; chef ran a successful NYC restaurant for years. Varied ecclectic selections offered twice weekly in a prix-fixe menu.
