Situated in the heart of The Bolton abbey estate, the Cavendish Pavilion is the perfect riverside venue for refreshments and a bite to eat as part of your family day out – serving hot and cold drinks, hand-made cakes, sandwiches and hot food everyday. Opened in 1980, it very much resembles a Victorian style station building. In the evening, in its magical setting, the Cavendish Pavilion is transformed into a fantastic party venue.

Really disappointing place. After a long 6 mile walk was really looking forward to a nice sit down in the warm, only to discover ( in this day and age!!!!) that we had to sit outside because we had the dog!

Bolton Abbey is a beautiful setting, wonderfully well kept, it is a pleasure to walk and spend some time outdoor but the Pavilion despite a few changes the food is just not good enough. We had a sandwich with cheese and bacon which was quite...More
