Been three or four times now. Sat outside in the sun trap and indoors today. Soup just right after a walk. Then we were tempted by the cakes. Lovely taste of good coffee and cakes for the drive home. Decided not to spend £10 to...More

This is a great place to stop for coffee and cake (or more) after wandering down from the Abbey and before heading off to Strid Wood

Arranged to meet friends and do the Pumpkin Trail. Lovely day and all the trail was very enjoyable for us all including the four children. We finished off the walk by visiting the tea room. Lucky to get a table that fit all 8 of...More

Nearing the end of a fabulous day of walking in beautiful sunshine our group decided to call in to the tearoom for much needed refreshment. The cakes looked very appealing so some of us decided to treat ourselves. My choice was a rather gooey chocolate...More

Beautiful setting, attentive staff and incredible food. Perfect place for brunch/lunch/afternoon tea. Food portions generous, great value and delicious. Cornish pasties were especially good. Location great for a walk to the Strid or Barden Tower then drinks/food afterwards. We shall be back again.

This was our 2nd visit to the little tea room and again had their English breakfast which is not for the fainthearted decent portions and excellent quality, lots of little gifts and trinkets around the tables to keep you occupied and friendly attentive staff

We called here last minute after initially parking at the village and walking partway along the river and back. It is good that the £10 parking covers all three carparks. Had a gorgeous and very generous hand made ice cream!

Dissapointing after paying for expensive parking, no access to the toilets and pricing food forced out visit to be short, mt husband has a medical need to access toilets, if we had known the issue we would have saved our money

I had a cream tea while my husband had scone with butter and jam with a coffee. Both were very enjoyable. The cafe is quite basic but perfectly placed for a rest after a long walk by the river.
