Called in ad-hoc for lunch, we had a salmon and prawn salad and a salmon and crab salad, both were absolutely delicious! The service was prompt and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome even though we were lugging our folding bikes around with...us! Would definitely recommend a visit here, the portions are large and the views are stunning!More

Ordered 2 ciabattas with TIGER PRAWNS with a spicy mayo they gave us 2 ciabattas with tiny shrimps smothered in shop bought 1000 island dressing ! Spoke with owner who told us that is what they consider to be exactly as we Ordered very annoying...£32 for not very much 'buyer beware ' marketing far better than actual product typical of today's trendy eateries style over substanceMore

What a find. We had been looking forward to this and were pleased to be able to rebook as our initial booking was cancelled due to the Great British weather . Can't fault this place. Super smiley staff and menu full of tasty treats. We...went for the fishy picnic and the crab & salmon salad. I could quite happily have eaten the bisque all day. Stunning flavours. Our lunches both had a delicious side salad - not a limp leaf in sight (unlike so many places that dish up a sorry excuse for a salad.) Went for a dessert as well and these were also excellent. We've been coming to the IOW for the last 3 years and have eaten at many of the 'best' restaurants on the island as well as the mainland and can honestly say this is by far the best meal we've had on the IOW and one of the best lunches we've ever had . We will definitely be back to try out some of the other choices and cocktails too Lovely to go somewhere that is clearly fuelled by a passion for excellent food and service .More

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Sun was shining. Food, drink and service was great. Live music from a mariachi band. 4 adults and 4 kids all enjoyed their meals. Would highly recommend

Lovely spot for a coffee. Food looked good, but too ‘fishy’ for me (Vegetarian). The staff were friendly, but the service was slow, we only ordered drinks, but they took over half an hour to be served!

What a fantastic place! We tried to visit Monday but the great rain caused the Beach Hut to close, we weren’t really given that much notice on the cancellation which was a bit disappointing as we could have ventured somewhere else. Anyway, we rebooked for...Friday (our last day visiting) and hoped for better weather. The sun was shining and the beach hut was worth the wait! Great service, busy and attentive staff, lovely drinks and the food was amazing! Huge portions, we looked around at what others had and I would recommend the platters over the other options. My only criticism is that the umbrellas on the bottom terrace could do with being about 2 or 3 inches shorter as to not block the view from the Astro but the Astro seating was much more comfortable looking so it swings in roundabouts!More

Lovely location, ambience and view. Friendly staff, and decent food. Limited choice for kids, and highly overpriced salad .. hence the score. Shame that so many restaurants disincentivise healthy eating. Still lovely restaurant that deserves a visit!

Had the mist delicious sea food platter at the beautiful beach hut in Bembridge. The staff were so friendly and helpful, immediately found us a table sheltered from the wind and sun. They were really amenable and the food was sumptuously tasty and so fresh....Rosie our waitress was delightful and she sweetly arranged for a pudding yreay as it was my sister and her husbands wedding anniversary . A gorgeous spot fir a lazy lunch on a sunny day in the Isle of Wight. Would definitely come again. Thank you.More

What an absolute amazing find & recommendation. The Beach Hut is set in a stunning sheltered location with views across the Solent. Very much a Seafood venue but do cater for other dietary requirements, even vegans. Rosie, a front of house member of staff, is...such a lovely lady, nothing is too much trouble & accommodating! She is an absolute asset to this venue which made our lunch visit even more of a great experience!More
