We have visited this part of Scotland for the past 25 years and this is the place I look forward to eating at. The setting is stunning and the food matches the wonderful view. Always beautifully cooked and piping hot, can particularly recommend the Cullen skink. Service is quick and friendly, look forward to the next visit.

Had a cracking meal in fantastic surroundings, Stornaway black pudding with a poached egg followed by salmon. My wife had the fish and homemade chips. Wonderful friendly service with stunning views a very pleasant evening.

Came up to the Taymouth with a Itison Voucher for a 2 course lunch . What a grand setting on the sides of Loch Tay with panoramic views on a clear day . Sitting beside the Crannog and less than half a mile from Kenmore . A canoe marina sits on the water in front of of the Hotel .... More

Visited here for the first time and were given a lovely table overlooking Loch Tay. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Mains were salmon fillet in caper butter with potato and mixed veg, Desserts were apple crumble and custard, and a pear poached in red wine served with chantilly cream and toasted almonds. Very tasty and nicely presented. We would return

We ate lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. We savoured every mouthful - beautifully cooked main courses and yummy, yummy poached pears with chantilly cream and almonds for dessert. And of course looking out on Loch Tay (whatever the weather) just adds to the enjoyment. The fact that we had an Itison voucher was an added bonus! We would... More

Popped in here with the oldies inbetween walking Acharn Waterfall and Moness Waterfall circular walks. Had the most amazing warm fresh cheese scone, great size (though I could have scoffed more they were so nice). Stunning view of the loch, expect it's extremely popular in the summer. Excellent.

We had afternoon tea and scones, our dog was able to sit outside with us on the veranda on a beautiful warm sunny day in May 2016. Views are fabulous. Great service. Very good quality. Beautiful decor inside restaurant. Good choice on menu. Would highly recommend. Will be returning.

We had a late lunch in the restaurant. It is a very pleasant place to eat. I loved the décor, it also has a large wood burner. We had Lamb Shank with creamed potatoes, veg and a wonderful gravy (£16.95) and Fish and Chips with a salad (£13.95). I can recommend the crumble with custard (although the custard was delicious,... Very cosy wood burning stove to sit beside whilst having a pre dinner drink and looking at the menu. A party of four and we all had fabulous meals. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. Food was excellent. I had the Camembert which was mouth watering and steak which was wonderful

Stayed at the apartments opposite for 5 days - had a wonderful holiday, visited the restaurant on our first night, unfortunately only one other couple in there so it lacked atmosphere which was a shame as it's in an excellent spot. Food was average nothing special and a bit overpriced. We didn't go back
