Although I've adressed it as a pub that really is doing this establishment a disservice. It also has a very nice restaurant, but we like to sit in the olde world bar area. The Sunday dinner we had earlier was excellent, as usual. The waiting...More

The first time I ate here both my partner and myself were disappointed. However, I'm glad I came back with friends, not once but twice. The food and service had vastly improved, to the point of excellent. The atmosphere is very relaxed, it makes you...More

A limited menu that doesn’t change offers consistently decent, hot food. Pleasant staff, cosy surroundings, loads of parking space - a decent place to go to for a decent meal.

An average pasta lunch which lacked a little in flavour. However the waitress was most attentive. The pate which was the starter looked grey and unappetising but actually was quite ok.

Popped in early evening as the pub we were staying at doesn't serving food on Mondays. Charming old building in traditional 'hunting and fishing' decor. Large menu, a bit old fashioned, pub grub. The service was very good throughout, from showing us to our table,...More

Classic pub food - great scampi and chips. Lots of vegetables, chips, potatoes..... with the Cod. Reasonably priced and good beer. Service was very good. For a stop on the way back home this is worth it if you’re hungry.
