Lovely old pub which also has a separate dining room as well as the bar area. Ample staff to cope with the busy restaurant who were all friendly and efficient. Good choice from the specials board such as Scallops and Black Pudding Bon Bons which...More

A limited menu that doesn’t change offers consistently decent, hot food. Pleasant staff, cosy surroundings, loads of parking space - a decent place to go to for a decent meal.

An average pasta lunch which lacked a little in flavour. However the waitress was most attentive. The pate which was the starter looked grey and unappetising but actually was quite ok.

Classic pub food - great scampi and chips. Lots of vegetables, chips, potatoes..... with the Cod. Reasonably priced and good beer. Service was very good. For a stop on the way back home this is worth it if you’re hungry.

Seems like a lovely pub until you order your food. The veg was over cooked and sea bass was vile. It smelt funny and it was served with great big chunks of sundried tomatoes and black olives not a good combination at all!!! I was...More
