Service fantastic, always made to feel welcome even if on own. Great menu, great food, never had a bad dish. Supporting a local business a bonus.

Awful service. Ordered takeaway, specifically asking for time to delivery at the start of the call. 45 minutes, OK. No food one hour later, so I call. Ten minutes, driver is nearly there. OK. No food 15 minutes later, so I call. Ten minutes. No...longer OK, but when is it really coming? It was indeed ten minutes. 1 hour and 35 minutes in total. Here's the kicker. Driver tells me he only picked it up less than 10 minutes ago! The food was never ever going to be delivered in 45 minutes. If you're busy, good for you, but don't tell such an outright lie. Not the first time this has happened with Gaylord, but certainly the last time for us.More
We’ve always ordered from our regular Indian restaurant around the corner from Gaylord however with it being a Friday and we knew they’ll be busy we decided to order from here what a mistake that was…. An hour for delivery ok. Its a Friday we...accept that! But the food was terrible - paneer over cooked - okra they left the stalk on and no flavour the king prawn was dry - the lamb chops were dry and chewy. Not one dish was worthy of a praise unfortunately. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.More
We used to order every week on a Sunday and the service and food was excellent, so today we ordered on a Saturday evening - we knew it would be busy and we were told it would take 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive -...finally got it after nearly 2 hours, Luke warm, no apology.More
Every order is spot on. No mistakes ever made and I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Absolutely perfect food. So fresh. So delicious. Staff are so polite and food is always on time delivered or served piping hot. I went somewhere else recently...now regret it. It was vile compared to Gaylord. Thank youMore
After trying all the local takeaways lots of times, our meal last night was, we think, the best ever Tandoori King Prawn Shashlick, Chicken Tikka Massala and Mushroom Rice were the best we've ever had Hot, fresh and bursting with flavour This is our takeaway...of choiceMore
Amazing friendly service, great range of options. Really tasty and authentic. Came here after the Thai place ignored us
We had a delivery from The Gaylord Tandori tonight . It was on time, piping hot and delicious. I am looking forward to my lunch at work tomorrow as they were generous portions. Thank you chaps. Will be back soon 😘
I sometimes feel you can rate a British Indian restaurant by the proportions of onions they use to bulk up the dish. How bloated you then feel the next day is also clearly related to this. While we enjoyed the meal when we eat it,...yes there were far too many onions and shall I say I would not recommend eating here is you want to be - er - sociable the next day!More
RACIST!!! My husband was in this area with his colleague last night. His colleague was hungry and wanted hot food. My husband wanted nothing. His colleague asked him to check to see if Gaylord Tandoori was open, while he went into the Tesco express opposite....My husband walked to the restaurant read the offers in the window and the A-board outside. Two men came outside from the restaurant and stood blocking the door and asked my husband if there was a problem. Hubby clarified that he was reading that offers they had posted up. The staff told him that they were closed, still standing in the doorway. He thought nothing of it, went into the Tesco express to tell his colleague that they were closed and went back to his vehicle. A short while later, his colleague approached their vehicle completely incensed and outraged. His colleague explained that he had walked across to Gaylord Tandoori himself and as he walked in the restaurant, he was given a menu and and was asked to sit down. He felt so hurt by this overt act of profiling and racism and he wanted to know why. They both entered the restaurant to get an explanation. The restaurant staff were shocked when the two men walked in together and didn’t know what to say. My husband’s colleague asked them for an explanation. One staff member stood around the corner to avoid explaining and the other couldn’t find words. Why was it that one of them was blocked, denoting a problem and sent packing and the other allowed to come in and sit down? If it’s not clear by now: my husband is black and his colleague is white. Hubby’s colleague told them off. They then offered to give them both a sit down meal. Weren’t they closed???...More
Disgusting!! Had a curry delivered to the Barley Mow pub in Maidenhead and the container contained pools of ghee (oil). Threw it all in the bin. Far too oily!!
Rang earlier in the day to book a table and confirm that we could use the government scheme in conjunction with the banquet night and was told we could. However, they then refused to give the discount after we had had our meal. All this...despite the government saying you can use the discount in conjunction with other offers. Supported this restaurant with Takeaway orders in lockdown and this is how they repay customers. Unimpressed and will not be returning again. A number of other customers had been told the same thing on the phone but then something else when they arrived.More
Have eaten in restaurant a few times always great service & food - so we tried the take away option. Excellent food - arrived quickly. Plenty of meat in dishes & good portions - will definitely use again while we can't eat out - thanks...GaylordMore
We visited for the first time on Thursday. I have a taste card and we wanted to eat somewhere different so i searched on the tastecard app for a place that was available for 4 people, Gaylord Tandoori popped up so we thought we'd give...it ago. it was pretty late we must have got there around 8pm, but the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The customer service and food was great, and decent portions too! The only negative is that they knew we had a tastecard as when you bok you have to notify them, so when it came to paying the bill came it was handwritten so very difficult to understand and then i questioned if the tastecard had been applied. Their answer was yes however they only applied it on one person. When the tastecard clearly started its 2 for 1 up to 6 people, therefore for every 2 people one is free, he insisted it was one person per tastcard, we didnt want to make a fuss so paid and left. I use the tastecard very often and i know that they hadn't applied it as it should be. Such a shame it was ruined by the service/attitude at the end.More
Lovely tasty food and friendly service. We had the tandoori trout, lamb tikka madras, saag rice and a lovely paratha.
