Perfect ambience on a warm sunny midday in November in this former fishing village, now enjoying some, thankfully so far limited, touristic success but not over commercial as in many other resorts. The mixed fish platter was excellent. The service was very good. A good selection of white wines, from which I chose a dry Verdejo, rounded off an enjoyable... More

I don't often write bad reviews(please look at my record) but this place takes the biscuit. We had booked a table in a quiet corner and, won Hen the menu came, the choice was fairly limited. I had the mixed fried seafood and my wife had the prawn and avocado salad. Madam had four prawns, four bits of avocado and... More

This is an excellent restaurant serving all types of fresh fish - with a direct view out to sea just lovely. The staff are courteous and professional and speak in numerous languages. The food is served in the most imaginative and decorative ways. I would certainly recommend if you like fish.

Visited on a cold windy day but still it was lovely to sit upstairs on the terrace and watch the waves come crashing in. We had four appetizers baby battered squid which was gorgeous, garlic prawns exquisite, potatoes and finally cheese wrapped in full pastry with chutney dip. All beautifully presented by friendly staff.

Situated in the small harbour of El Cotillo, this cozy restaurant is deffinetly a must. The view and the food were both amazing and surprisingly affordable. I would deffinetly recomend the mixed fish plate and the homemade Sangria. Lovely!!! The place seemed really popular among locals so I would suggest to book a table in advance...

We had a sea view table on the roof on a night with a full moon, really special. Staff were efficent . Quite a lot of fish on the menu. But there are some meats too. A really lovely spot.

Nestled on the little harbour, this busy place boasts a fantastic aspect above the rocks and waves. Seafood specialities on offer. We had the paella. Gorgeous. Starter garlic mushrooms were a little bland though so not five stars. Not the cheapest but tasty all the same. Nice smiley service. Outside seating is the most atmospheric, but a light jumper needed... More

La Vaca Azul was highly recommended by TripAdvisor reviewers, so we drove from Corralejo where we were staying, to El Cotillo to visit the town and restaurant as it was advised that to get a table overlooking the sea, you had to book in advance. So we returned two days later and had the perfect table. We ordered the garlic... More

What can I say... The food and wine here is absolutely incredible, as are the staff and the views! My partner and I sat on the roof terrace overlooking the fisherman's bay and we're taken away by the beauty of it. We shared a bottle of the house Rioja (a bargain at 9 euros!!). For a starter, we shared mussels... More
