The food here is exquisite with outstanding service. We ate here three times because it was so good. The dishes are fresh, creatively presented with perfectly balanced seasonings. The atmosphere is fun and lively, with waiters happy to make recommendations. It is perfectly located on the seafront with picturesque views of the ocean. A fine dining experience for a reasonable... It was a Monday night not packed to the rafters, old senior waiter and young enthusiastic learner. Service slow, we were not shown the specials board (it had barracuda which i would have liked to have tried) i asked if the prawns were pealed or in shells answer peeled, served..... in shells... duck and tuna steak very nice, service was... We are here on the first and last night of our holiday, it was so good. First night we had a table on the terrace watching the crashing waves and last night inside as it was windy. Seafood paella to share was fabulous and last night we had whole fish picked out for us and cooked Canarien style'. Both first... More

We had a great lunch here seated on the top balcony of the restaurant watching the waves crash into the old harbour and it's pebbly beach - it would be worth eating here just for the view and the old part of the village is charming. We really enjoyed the mixed fish dish for two - lovely fresh fish which... More

Overall, an excellent location for a late afternoon/early evening meal ahead of the famous El Cotillo sunset. We ordered some starters which were outstanding and had Canarian-style open fish, which was very flavorful and filling. Unfortunately, some of my half of the fish was somewhat undercooked (meat difficult to separate from the skin) but, as I was almost finished (and... More

We ate here twice, first time had a great paella and sat downstairs, lovely atmosphere. We liked it so much we chose to eat here on my birthday. We got the best table in the house upstairs overlooking the sea on a moonlit night. Marvellous. Great food, service and so romantic.

Fish can be a bit hit and miss on Fuerteventura, but La Vaca Azul did us proud. From their display of fresh fish we chose a red snapper, which they served in the Canarian way - opened up with garlic in the middle and then grilled - price €32.40. It was delicious. To keep us going while we waited, we... More

Stopped for sangria and stayed for lunch. A really beautiful octopus salad for me and fish soup for my husband. Returned a few days later for dinner of paella. Sat outside both times. Really good, pleasant service from all staff. Can't fault this place with it's great food and lovely position overlooking the sea.
