The place is nice, the food is cheap (by local standards), but the empanadas are quite oily and the portions are small compared with other restaurants nearby. The cakes are really sweet.

My friend & I went back here twice: once for some fried fish & rice, then for their ceviche. Both very good & large portions. Had a refreshing mango juice with both meals. Yum! The service is fast & friendly, and it's a local restaurant with cheap prices for the island. Couldn't ask for more!

we chose this place because it looked like a place for locals rather than tourists; and our guide had said he'd had great food there. so maybe our experience wasn't normal, but our food wasn't good. my ceviche wasn't cold (which made me nervous about the fish) and the flavor was mediocre at best. my son had the steak and... The place is small, cute and very typical.. and the best of it all, its prices. It is NOT a high-end place, but the food is delicious and the empanadas are the best in town. The service quality is superb, very friendly and nice.

I'd passed here a few times when walking into town via Tahai. It doesn't shout out 'restaurant'. It's a very low key place inside as well. Just one small room with a limited menu. It's run by two mature ladies who's speciality seems to be deep fried empanadas, but I didn't fancy them They also do a daily special for... More

This place is really small but don't discount it on appearance. It is really charming when we were there the right mix of music with the delicious food made me not want to leave. Very rarely do I want to go back to a restaurant while on vacation. This was one of those places I'd willingly go to repeatedly.

We went here because this place had been recommended to us by several people in chile. The empanadas were nice enough and the restaurant is located right by the ocean so you have a good view.

It is a simple, informsl, but friendly place with a nice view of the park and sea from across a quiet road. The service was very prompt and prices modest. The menu is quite limited, mostly empanadas and daily specials like spaghetti, but it is great for a quick bite to eat at lunch time and handy for Ahu Tahai.... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch here on the way back to Hanga Roa from Ahu Tahai. A shady, terraced eating area catches the sea breeze. Very good juicy empanadas of meat and tuna, washed down with Escudo beer - very acceptable!
