Pleased that The Angel has reopened. Three of us enjoyed excellent meals this evening well cooked by Simon the new chef. The freshly baked apple pie was particularly good. Graham, manning the bar is a very welcoming and friendly host.

An impromptu visit for lunch. Friendly. Lovely and helpful waitress. Went out of her way to help some cyclists. Food was OK. A bit pricey. The pie dish was covered with a rectangular piece of pastry, bit like an oversized duvet.
