One of the best meals we have ever eaten, anywhere! Local ingredients, seasonal variation, a genuine and warm welcome from the moment you arrive, to the moment you (sadly) leave.

We are a regular visitor to Kilberry and this was even better than ever before. Food can only be described as absolutely delicious. Carefully sourced ingredients cooked with such great skill. ...... So we'll definitely be back

Had dinner during our holidays in Argyll. The quality of food is good although I've eaten better and healthier (my beef stew was too heavy and I felt somewhat sick and totally stuffed at the end of our meal). The atmosphere is quite peculiar and can be best described as "snobbish English". Only bearable if you don't listen to about... More

Discovered this place by mere happenstance and was delighted to have done so. Despite walking in without a booking my partner and I were made extremely welcome and placed by the open fire by the host. He did his job to an extremely high standard, making excellent recommendations on wine and beer to match the truly memorable comestibles on offer.... More

In had heard about the Inn before our holiday and was looking forward to sampling the food. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel comfortable straight away. We sat at the bar, ordered drinks and were quickly served and "amuse buche" WOW! The taste was amazing. The wow's continued throughout the meal as the flavours were... More

Staying in this corner of Scotland we took lunch at the Kilberry Inn. What a great decision, welcome, service and friendliness all top level. Whilst looking at the menu we had some locally brewed Loch Fyne beer. Opted for crab terrine and roasted feta to start, both fantastic. We followed this up with queenies and halibut, the fish was absolutely... More

Staying in a cottage nearby, we were recommended the Kilberry Inn as a place to dine. Having a very limited range of options near to you considering the isolation of Kilberry, I was unsure what to expect. The Inn in itself is wonderfully cosy, with a roaring fire and plush interior. The food was fantastic - Milanese veal is not... More

We were so lucky to discover this amazing and very unassuming looking restaurant whilst staying in a remote cottage in the area. Eat there and discover why it has received a Michelin Bib Gourmand award - and reading a few stickers in the window from the inside, have continued to pick up more awards. Owned by Clare Johnson and David... More

Huge thanks once more to David and Claire for the lovely time we had on our latest visit to the Inn. We always feel welcome and immediately at home! If you have the opportunity to try the queenies, order the main portion size because they are that good! Whatever you choose will be delicious though, no question. Whisky drinkers: be... More
