Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a wonderful experience on the evening of Easter Saturday. After the extremely warm and cordial welcome, we followed the recommendations of the day and were not disappointed. All four courses of our menu were very cleverly prepared and tasted juste exquisite. What a pleasure!...Merci beaucoup pour tout et au revoirMore

We had lunch at this restaurant to celebrate my cousin's birthday. The food is absolutely out of this world it is very clean and fresh. It seafood is so clean and looks like something you would cook at home for your loved ones. You can...feel the loving vibes in every bite, in the atmosphere, and in the face of every person working in this restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and I am for sure going back again for it :)More

Fantastic lunch!! Perch was the best in the area that I have tried. My husbands sea bass, was beautiful and filleted at the table. We had wonderful service and the staff was beyond accommodating to Americans. We wish we would have tried the mussels and...fish for two that every table seem to have ordered.More

Welcome bye Hosts was professionell and warm. We had the € 45,- menu. Starter (Terrine à la volaille avec fois gras) was too cold and not reappeared which reduces the taste. Main course was outstanding: tournados great, sauce perfect and tuna fisch.with cheese sauce smashing....Desserts were great class. View over the lake fantastic. Service.was very attentive. We will come backMore

Usually we drive past this restaurant, but this time we decided to give it a try one evening We were greeted by the very friendly owner who apparently loves what she does and suggested a wonderful aperitif which we later found to be 9€ per...glass! She declaimed all the dishes to be served which was quite amusing Good food, though nothing was served hot but as the weather was warm it didn't matter so much Desserts were all good except that they all had too much wiped cream At 60€ per person I found the bill a bit too high for the region Nevertheless I will go back with just my husband this time to try lunch there as we both loved the service and the viewMore

The whole place is beautifully run and the food really good. There is always a very warm welcome from Kathy and due to my stubborn British attitude her English is improving !! On our last visit in June we chanced our arm for Sunday lunch...without a booking and arrived just after opening to find there were already three tables occupied. We were found a table and by the time we left the restaurant was full inside and outside. Says it all reallyMore

This restaurant is a must, it's fabulous. We visited with friends five of us in total, and we were greeted by Kathy who was fantastic, very funny, and she made the evening great fun! The food was wonderful we all had a steak which was...cooked to perfection, fabulous wine selection, and we were offered fresh fish from the lake. The Rum baba is a MUST! If you find yourself in this region of France you really must give it a go. We are going back for a second helping next weekMore

Although we had driven past this restaurant several times this was the first time we had eaten there. Totally delighted with all aspects. Welcoming service, excellent food, the fish I had was perfectly cooked and delicious, and my husband's steak demonstrated the same high quality...ingredients and preparation. Looking out across Lac Leman there was almost an atmosphere of being on a boat. Must be even lovelier in summer - we will return to try it!More

We read reviews and it lived up to the positive reviews we've read. Visiting with my wife and friend we sat looking over Lake Geneva and ordered all the specials - scallops were devine and their sause for all dishes were incredible. Yummy white sangria...(I think they called it their sun wine) and topped off the great experience with strawberry desserts! Eat here for good French meal.More

This is an excellent family restaurant in which the passion for high quality food, creative presentations, and very caring service is present. Located on the Lac Leman with a great view (not waterfront as a road is in front, but all you see from the...dining room is the stunning lake. We were welcomed by the owner, a true professional with years of excellent customer service and very well staffed team (all family). The food for all parties was delicious to the eye and palette. Service was impeccable. Be prepared for a clear mouth watering explanation of each dish including the dessert. We had a succulent appetizer, lovely sea fish with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes with safran spicing. We finished off with 3 stunning desserts and coffee followed by a needed walk in the park located next to the restaurant. Bravo to La Table de Grand Lac!More

We visited early October during our exploration of neglected (by us) European gems, (Besancon, Metz, Ghent, Baden-Baden, etc), which included stylish Evian on Lac Leman. In our search for interesting restaurants and meals we chose this conservatory-style restaurant on the side of the lake. Welcoming,...attentive and thoughtful service. Entrees: One a generous portion of delicious chanterelles, and the other a lake fish rillette. Main Courses: Biche (venison) bourginoisse and a fillet steak with bearnaisses sauce, both served with ratatouille and other vegetables. I enjoyed the little salt and pepper pots which I could dip my steak in, whilst my husband felt the rich venison was quite perfect. Desserts: An impressive trio of ice creams on caramel and topped with meringues, to resemble forest mushrooms. Espressos and complimentary petit fours sized rum babas. A house aperitif launched the meal, the selection of wine was thoughtful. This establishment fulfilled our expectations and is recommended. With wine, expect to pay in excess of Euros 60 per person.More
