Lovely ambient pub with delicious food and friendly staff. All you want and nothing less. Outdoor seating if the sun shines, just a lovely place.

Reasonably priced, nice array of pub style food. Both the staff and the "regulars" were very welcoming to weary walkers.

Went for lunch on a lovely sunny day, sat outside in , had the cheese and ham sandwich on lovely bread with red onion chutney. Accompanied by a prosecco. Nice and sheltered in the garden away from hustle and bustle. Friendly helpful staff, reasonable price.

We called in on our way from the Corbridge Beer Festival as we had a taxi booked to run us up the hill. We got served quickly and the atmosphere was good.
