Visited Vaima during our stay in November, 2016. Really nice setting, food was delicious [Pork Belly with Crackling ... wonderful!] Would highly recommend.

At Vaima the staff were welcoming and friendly, in typical Rarotongan style. The decor is simple, but tasteful, and the atmosphere relaxed. There is a good range of food available on the menu. The presentation and service were excellent, the staff attentive without being intrusive. We very much enjoyed our evening. The private outdoor area and view out to the... More

Be sure to call for reservations. ate here 2 times in week. Fish of day was awesome!! Order steak a little under. Was a little overcooked, but the view from the beach-side tables, and the great deserts made it all worth it

Beachside tables on the sand looking across sparkling water is worth the trip to Vaima. The food was Devine. The best duck l'orange I have had. Let down a little bit by the service, but still worth a visit

We were excited to return to Vaima as we hadn't visited it since it has been resurrected after the fire that destroyed it. However it was a great disappointment all round. :( It was very busy when we arrived at 7:00pm and our drinks orders were taken straight away. They came out soon after. From then on, things deteriorated. We... More

Vaima gets 5 stars for the setting. The office manager at our hotel got us the front table right on the beach for dinner. Lovely sunset right on the sand. Everything else gets three stars. Food was decent, not great, a bit expensive for the quality and quantity. Service was quite poor at all tables. Appeared to be more of... More

All I remember, sorry, but they won't leave my brain, were two things from this dinner. First was the amazing sunset, we ate right on the beach, and secondly and most unique, was the amazingly good key lime pie. It was not traditional, more like a cake, but incredibly tasty. I wish I could have gone back again and again!... More

This place was recommended to us by our accomodation who'd never steered us wrong. The food was excellent, cocktails delicious. We had the chicken wontons, pork belly and fish and chips all of which were delicious. The mains are extremely generously sized. We liked the place so much we ended up going back there again later on in the week.... More

The location is right on the beach, food is beautiful a bit on the pricey side, we ate there a couple of times, the beef wellington is delicious.

Thank reporoa

We are situated right on the beach. Imagine sitting on the beach with the sun setting, sipping your favourite cocktail and enjoying some of the best cuisine on the island - how romantic! We also offer a pizza take away service - forget the cooking - enjoy our pizza in your room/hotel or just sit on the beach with your feet in the water enjoying the food. We can cater for small private functions and weddings. Look forward to seeing you at the Vaima. We recommend that families book between 5.30 and 6.30 pm.
