Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Someone recommended this restaurant, probably because it was the closest to where we were staying.... No one greeted us, (it was a busy weeekend afternoon), and only after 20 minutes someone took our order. Once you get the staff's attention, they are courteous, but in...generally you will be ignored. And we were not the only table ignored. As for food, it was hit and miss. The fried anchovies were rushed and dirty plates were not cleared. It looked more like a school cafeteria especially inside and outside, like a cafe for a drink... If you have a pet, it's a pet friendly place.More

I am a regular visitor to this restuarant and the service levels are very inconsistent. This morning I went for a coffee and breakfast and was sat for 20 minutes being totally ignored. They either need more staff or staff that are far more attentive

Even with the current COVID-19 restrictions in place I felt this place was a little soulless. There were a few people about but I didn’t find the staff as friendly as other reviews have suggested. It is certainly clean but given the location I think...the drinks are a bit overpriced. The competition around here come from two chiringuitos, La Sal being the better and La Choza, even if it qualifies as only a restaurant. Wouldn’t venture back until perhaps the summer, when hopefully there will be less restrictions, more customers and a better atmosphere.More

We would frequent this place most days for a cava and beer. Super clean. Friendly service. They have lovely tapas and it’s pretty cheap!

Amazing staff, so friendly and welcoming. Classic Spanish fare from this modern restaurant. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or evening. Off the beach location at the bottom of the Casares road may seem odd but please do not be put off. If this was on the...beach you would be queuing for a table.More

The restaurant is located on the Casares Roundabout, next to a petrol station, facing the road. That said, the palms and gum trees surround it, and the beach is just across the road. The decor is very simple, if not absent. Plain and modern. It...is more like a tapas place; however, the menu is good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. The oxtail was superb, and so was filet steak, with very decent wine to accompany it. The service was great, friendly and attentive, made one feel at home. Overall, it is a good, inexpensive place to enjoy a hearty meal of good quality, and within easy walking distance from the beach.More

Visited off the cuff as other more well known place were closed at this time. Very good service and friendly staff. Cod loin was really good as was my Dover sole. Pil pil wasn’t the best I’ve had - not much flavour. House rueda for...€12 was a bargain and really good. Dying flowers in all the pots was a bit of a disappointment.More

My family and I visited this place a few days ago. The food was expensive and bad. Only good thing to say about this place was the waitress and the sangria was decent.

We stayed in the area for a couple weeks and went here many times for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee. The staff here really know how to look after you if you're looking for something more typically Spanish. Menú del día, great value and...super-fresh. Coffee is the best! Gracias a todos !!More
