There are many Japanese restaurants along the coast, but Kabuki Raw is by far the best Japanese restaurant, evinced by its Michelin star awarded recently. I have been going for a number of years; I found on the menu both traditional Japanese dishes as well as Mediterranean fusion with Japanese Cuisine. One of my favourite dishes is the Wagyu beef... Last year we visited the Kabuki at the Abama / Tenerife. A large and cool restaurant. No good memories – but we wanted to visit a Kabuki again. What a difference at the Kabuki Raw in the Finka Cortesin. With a warm welcome we were guided to our round table, placed within a cozy room (not too many seats), at... More

Maybe it's just me but, when you dine at a Michelin starred restaurant, one would expect a superior experience. After dining with my family over the Christmas holidays, I left scratching my head after a mind numbing experience bordering on pretentious. Fried rice at 20 Euros? Really? Definitely got the impression the staff was impressed by their Michelin star. Sushi... More

Sounds a bit crazy but ... worth the visit. The setting of the restaurant provides an open view on the kitchen. Food is great and not bombastique. Great service and for sure a place to visit.

When first entering the restaurant I knew it was something special and as soon as service began I knew it had to be Michelin star. Service was excellent, staff knowledgable, and the food was like heaven. So perfect it makes you wonder just how do they do it. I don't think I can go to any other Japanese restaurant anywhere... Unexpectedly, the sweet, sleepy town of Estepona is home to what may the most beautiful resort in all of Spain and certainly one of the world's great sushi restaurants. Well deserving of its Michelin star, Kabuki Raw is an adventure and a delight. The food rises to the expectation that the restaurant's high ratings inspire, but the service and beautiful,... More

The Japanese maitre, recently transferred from the Kabuki Wellington in Madrid, is very knowledgeable and worthwhile following his suggestions or advice. The food is very good using fresh, top quality ingredients expertly prepared and cooked. The wine list is very extensive with about 30 Champagnes for example from large to small producers, and the best selection of sakes we have... More

The food was absolutely horrible. We are all sushi lover, so we went with very high expectations. On our way to the restaurant we got a call that we needed to order from option A or B since the menu was set! We got there to find out that any party of more than 5 people had to choose from... More

This restaurant offered exceptional Japanese food in beautiful, elegant surroundings. Expensive, but worth it.
