We stayed in the hotel for four nights and ate the dinner two times in the restaurant. The food was excellent cooked and well served.

5 Stars all the way! This is a wonderful lodge with great accommodations, great restaurant and breakfast service. Individual chalets with superior amenities. Highly recommend staying at this facility.
Lovely surroundings, impeccable service, great 3 course menu with fabulous South African wine at a reasonable price. Ask to be seated in the private dining room if possible!
This Country House is way up there with the best, 5Star all the way. Beautiful surrounds. great welcome and wow, what a bedroom, complete with a fire place. Very warm and cuddly. We could, if time permitted, stay here for a month.

A really stunning space with lots of individual huts, a little hobbit-like almost. Wonderfully equipped leaving nothing one could ask for. Various interesting and very different spaces to relax in, inside and outside and a great mix of a contemporary and classic look and feel.
We visited while on an Illios tour. The facilities was excellent. The grounds were beautiful. The accommodation was extemely comfortable. The staff very helpful. The meals were breakfast and dinner were excellent. I could not recommend it more highly.
