Coming from America, you are used to your classic New York styled or Chicago styled pizzas. Italian pizza at Oca is on a whole other level level. They are all hand crafted and oven cooked. One of my favorites is my classic Pepperoni pizza the "Diavola". Its homemade with sliced sausage on top and cooked to perfection. Any one that... More

Panicale is small, so there's not much choice - go here or to La Loggetta, both are excellent. This one is open for more restricted hours/days but it's worth the wait. Very friendly service (haha! it's Umbria, so no surprise!) Great place for a group of six, as we were, but also ideal for a couple having a romantic dinner.

A typical 'local' Italian trattoria as found in most country villages all over Italy. I am not certain , but pretty sure family owned and most probably run by the same family for several generations. Often the heart of a village and a sort of 'meeting place' as people wander through, everyone seems to know everyone, a nod here ,... More

Came here on a recommendation from a villa owner nearby and really enjoyed the appetizers and pasta dinner. I did have one disappointment, that was a bit surprising. I was looking forward to the pizza based on the excellent reviews I read. As I ordered the pizza, we were told "we're out of pizza tonight". What? An Italian restaurant in... More

This is our third visit to Paciano, second to stay. I think we have eaten here 5 times now, this visit three. It such a great place. Open, friendly, relaxed. Sitting at the tables around us are what seem to be an array of family and friends of the place, including tonight s tiny baby. We love it here, and... More

We have been to Paciano 3 times over the last 8 years and we always look forward to at least one and preferably two meals at L'Oca Bruciata. The food and service is always great.

We kept returning to this restaurant in Paciano simply because it was hard to beat. The warm welcome, friendly and patient service coupled with a menu that pleased adults and children and top notch quality cooking. A winner!!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our villa owner as a place to try some local specialties. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious. The outdoor terrace seating was lovely and the staff was super firendly
