We arrived in Patti on a bright sunny February day only to find no restaurants open. After a walk away from the seafront we managed to find Trattoria Nereo. We were so lucky. There was no menu on that day but the excellent waiter went through what was available. My wife chose the antipasti seafood starters. I have never seen... More

Although I visited this restaurant in January, not a very touristy time, the hospitality was excellent. This family run buisness offers great food from a range of classic italian food such as pasta to the local speciality: seafood. If you are looking for a classic italian lunch or dinner, this is the place to go. The restaurant does not have... More

It is a delicious restaurant with some typical Sicilian food, but also a nice variety of worldwide foods. The restaurant did not have a menu therefore the waiter helped us chose a great meal. The antipasti was delicious as were the ravioli and the salted fish. It's a family run business.

We had one of our favourite meals at Trattoria Nereo during our two week tour of the east and north coast of Sicily. The restaurant is situated approx. 2 minutes (walk) from the main stretch in Patti. Hidden away in and amongst residential houses and local shops, it's a quiet and intimate setting visited by both locals and visitors. There... More

Delicious food and excellent service. Especially liked the thin sliced grilled aubergine with olive oil and balsamico and the fresh fish cooked on the grill. The very friendly owner paid close attention also to the kids making smiley faces with oil and balsamico to a little grumpy one to cheer her up.

We decided to have a last meal before heading to Palermo airport and dropped into Patti finding this restaurant quite by accident. What a stroke of luck !! We were warmly greeted by the waiter and noticed there was no menu. The waiter explained that the chef bought the seafood fresh every day , choosing what looked best from the... More

My wife and I had been looking for a restaurant like this for nearly a week on our travels around Sicily We arrived quite early for dinner as we had our 2yr old in tow, so the restaurant was very quite. In fact we were the only ones there. This was to our advantage though as the waiter was exceptionally... More
