Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After a busy morning driving around the region we arrived at Le Puzelle for a late lunch. They were still very welcoming and very busy. We were seated quickly and offered a very good selection of local cheeses, sausages, roasted peppers and breads, We moved...outside to the terrace for dessert which was a cake with orange marmalade filling. This gave us the opportunity to take in the view which in these hilly, small, regional towns is always engrossing. Le Puzelle is a subscriber to agritourism; they certainly provided us with local flavours both with the food served, the attractive venue and the views of the surrounding region.More

My wife and I stayed at this family owned agriturismo which has nice rooms, a pool, fantastic food and a helpful staff fluent in English. While visiting family in the area we stayed for 5 days. We organised a family dinner and ate some of...the best food we’ve had in Italy.More

We have eaten a classical antipasto and then a primo (pasta) and a secondo (steak). Very delicious, staff friendly, nice location.

The chef asked us what we would like to eat for dinner and he would give us some suggestions. “Your choice”, was our reply and we were never disappointed. The prices are reasonable, too.

I absolutely loved the food, the service, the location. We got an appetizer with capocollo, cheese, and other specialties accompanied by wine made in Ciro’. The bottle was only €22 and it was delicious. We also got different types of pasta. I would definitively come...back here.More

The meals cooked by Chef Salvatore Vona were skillfully prepared from fresh, local ingredients and served with love and extra care. So many dishes were memorable but some of our favorites were the pasta with arugula pesto, fresh prawns, pickled, (shredded) eggplant, and local sopressata....If you want more information about his cooking, check out his book sold on Amazon: A taste of Calabria: 140 Recipes from Southern Italy. I have spent a lot of time in the kitchen myself and encountered great chefs. I have to say that Chef Salvatore has mastered turning the simple ingredients into sublimely delicious meals. He is so focussed and unassuming but you taste the talent! We talk a lot about "eating clean," so you will find it here!More

Good food, very nice service! We enjoyed a prolonged lunch due the rain. The waiter was great, very attentive without pressure, good and fair recommendation. A lot of local people dinning, which is a good sign. Home made pasta and melanzane pastry simply great!

Found this gem via local recommendation - loved the food, antipasti and primi (pasta). With a good bottle of Rosé, dolci and coffee, the bill came to €84 for four. Restaurant very attractive + great scenery. We will come back!

One of the most beautiful, charming and relaxing places in the south of Italy I have ever been. Surrounded by fruit trees I enjoyed real Italian food with typical local products. On top of that we had the opportunity to learn directly from the chef...how to make real pasta! Absolutely a "must try" experience if you are visiting Calabria.More
