Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Smashing little cafe tucked away in a corner of Bainbridge. Very friendly welcome from new owners. Excellent choice of home made cakes, scones, quiche , pies etc. Had morning coffee and so impressed that we came back for lunch the same day!

A frequent stop when we are out on our motorcycle in the Yorkshire Dales. Always good with a good choice of sandwiches and the cakes are brilliant.

On driving through this quaint little village and stopping off at the Corn Mill tearoom, we have to acknowledge and pay tribute to these magnificent ladies who served such a wonderful lunchtime meal. The hospitality, friendliness and courteous attention must be applauded in no small...measure. Rest assured, we shall speak most highly of your enterprise and should we be anywhere near in the future, we will most definitely pay a visit to once again enjoy the culinary delights you serve up. Wonderful food - eat In or have it outside in the sunshine under a tree or get their take away food for later. Lots of choice, sandwiches, baguettes, panini, breakfast, drinks and even a Walkers' special for when you need a sit down after a...lovely walk in the Dales.More

Had lunch here again today. As always beautiful freshly prepared food & gorgeous cakes. We had cheese & ham toasties which came with Pringles a side salad & lovely creamy coleslaw followed by malterser cake & flapjack. As always we sit outside as we have...a dog & the lovely staff are always happy to bring our food out to us. Perfect location for our walk from Hawes.More

Stopped for coffee and toilets before excellent walk round Semer Water. Sat outside overlooking village green. Didn’t succumb to the cake display this time but looked great.

Many thanks for such a fantastic spread of assorted sandwiches, quiches, cakes, tray bakes and scones (with strawberries and cream) that you provided for Mum's funeral tea at Sycamore Hall, Bainbridge on Friday afternoon. It was just perfect and Mum would have been delighted so...many friends and relatives came to enjoy the sad occasion in her memory and were fed and watered so brilliantly by yourselves. Being in the WI she loved home made cakes and a proper afternoon tea. Your service was most attentive and efficient and we particularly appreciated being given carefully arranged platters of some leftovers, which we are continuing to enjoy at home now. You did Mum proud.More
