With Delilah spending the day with friends we had the chance to pop out for lunch and what a nice lunch it turned out to be. This is a lovely cool restaurant in the heart of the old town. A warm welcome greeted us and we had the pleasure of watching the chef cook our delicious black (squid ink) rice... More

Nice location close to central square, and really cosy atmosphere in snug 5-6 table set-up next to open kitchen, under old stone walled vaulted room. Clearly family run - not an extensive menu, but that's a good thing with interesting mix of good solid earthy dishes - the mediaeval chicken mentioned previously and the delicious rabbit/langoustines combo i tried. Effective... More

One of the best restaurants we had in our 4 week trip through Spain. What a gem! Rabbit is a revelation. Langoustines are top quality and perfectly cooked. This 3 person operation is exactly why some of us travel through Spain -- to find these unknown places that churn out incredible, soul elevating food day after day.

Perhaps it was because we were the only ones on a quiet Sunday night (while others watched soccer) in Can Muni. We were a table of 8 and the food didn't live up to the reviews..it was ok but none of us were blown away. On a positive note..The service was good and the restaurant is a beautifully appointed room.

Nice small restaurant with open kitchen where we could see the chef making all the dishes from scratch and all homemade. The teenagers choose the veal stake with chips, the rest of us (4) choose the menu with medieval chicken as main course and we really liked it. All in all a super experience. Remember to book in advance. The... More

I was dragged there by a friend who lives nearby but had never been there, and the dinner couldn't have been more pleasant. There were few people and the atmosphere was great. We had "muixeric" chiken which was, in my opinion, exceptional - it's a must if you go there. I had never eaten such good chicken! Furthermore, we tried... More

We have just enjoyed a beautiful Sunday evening dinner at this stunning little restaurant adjacent to the castle in Calonge. The ambience, in an old extension of the castle, would be hard to beat. The chef also waits on each table and is assisted by a señora at "back of house". The menu is a little different from standard fare... More

What a great find in Calonge on a chilly autumn night this restaurant was soo welcoming. Certainly warm and greeted with a warm welcome from the owner, who is the chef and waiter too. Sweet sausage starter, and pate to share, conejo con gambas (Rabbit and prawns) for hubster and chicken moix for me, water and delicious vi negre red... More

This is certainly an interesting restaurant and certainly not a conventional menu but in our group of five all of us had at least one big disappointment. Two of the party had Menu Medieval and three had the Menu del Vi. First of all the wine included in the price of the menu: the red was a rustic country wine... More
