Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The food is delicious, authentic and fresh. The restaurant doesn't look very inviting but it is well worth stepping inside. We enjoyed various sushi, almond chicken, prawn tempura and mixed vegetables. All the dishes were fresh, chicken super moist, prawns very fresh and vegetables nice...and crunchy. Beer (and glass) very cold. Highly recommend.More

The food was delicious and service great. The chef himself helped us choose and gave us tips on how to eat what kind of sushi. It was the best sushi we have ever had.

Such a disappointment, the reviews were so good that we had to try it and it was the only disappointing meal we had on the island. Prawn tempura was greasy and deconstructed, the fish quality wasnt fantastic, I would not label this as a good...Japanese restaurant.More

It doesn't take much to figure out that this is not an authentic Japanese restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty run down, even the menu is worn out, prices are pretty steep. I only ordered some seafood soup and some horrible, clearly frozen, dumpling, and...took off very disappointed. The soup was ok though.More

The best service and japanese food I've had outside Japan. Everything was delicious and the service incredibly friendly and helpful. The chef really knows his dishes and is delighted to give a piece of advice (which I followed and was very happy with the choice!)...Not a cheap place, but definitely worth the money. Quality food!More

when you go in to the restaurant the fist thing that hits you are the outstanding views because you are high up. Being fairly new to Japanese food we were a little nervous and we explained this to our hostess. she was very helpful and...suggested trying the 10 piece sushi to start. We sat up at the hot plate to watch everything getting cooked. The sushi was gorgeous, the fish just melted in your mouth. The show put on by our chef cooking our mains was pure artistry. There were knives and food flying everywhere and it all landed together in the most wonderful tasty dishes. He was so lovely and was very appreciative of our oohs and aahs. It was like going to see a show as much as going to eat. Would highly recommend a visit. We were made to feel very relaxed even though we were not sure how we should do things. the lovely staff kept us right but it was also very much do your own thing. Definitely worth a visit.More
