The steak was cooked to perfection and the fish and chips was huge. The staff were really friendly and the children's main courses were excellent, if their deserts and drinks were a little expensive. Overall a really enjoyably culinary experience.

Highly recommend this lovely pub restaurant. It is one of our regular pubs however I would say the service is second to none. The Team are always cheerful and helpful.

Had two excellent lunches here over the Bank Holiday weekend. The place was buzzing both times, clearly popular with locals and tourists alike. Super friendly staff, well kept beer, sensible children's menu and my haddock 'n' chips on Bank Holiday Monday was the best I've...More

Having decided to pay a visit for the first time in quite a while, we were a little concerned to read other reviews which made negative comments on the attitude of some staff, such as "utterly rude member of staff" quite recently. We found this...More

The pub is in a lovely setting overlooking the river and the inside is rather cosy. However, the food we found rather disapppointing. My partner and I both had crab salad which sounded very nice. The crab was very tasty but the salad was so...More

I was there with my 11 and 6 year old. The staff did a great job looking after them. The children's menu was fit for an adult also. The fondu was a lot of fun for them to.
