5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Friends have been recommending this place for years and we finally got to visit. Booked a table for 5pm as we had young kids with us (youngest was 6). The restaurant is very easy to get to - simply get the subway to Akasaka-Mitsuke, and it's pretty much straight across the street. Adults had the Shinobi course set menu and... More

My family and I really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. Food is plentiful and great quality. The ninja theme is quaint and fun for all without being over the top. While moderately expensive I believe it was good value considering the setting, entertainment and food.

The ninja waitress behind the secret door, the dark ambience, the magic tricks.... all kind of cheesy. And that made me think the food would be poor. But quite the opposite. The food was absolutely outstanding and I would go back in spite of the cheesy ambience. The snow frog cheesecake dessert was excellent.

The food at Ninja Akasaka was good and the place ir very nice. Nevertheless for the price we paid, we were expecting to have a better spectacle and more fun. There are so many good restaurants in Tokyo that we felt the experience was not worth for the price, they should improve the spectacle somehow.

A great place to take friends who are visiting. The staff all speak English and the extensive menu was in English. The food was all sculpted to suit the restaurant's theme.

We one of the tasting menus (the second one on the list). I expected this place to be very cheesy turist trap with average food, but I was surprised. Yes, it was very cheesy, but so cheesy that it was hilarious. Magic tricks were nice and dining in private tatami room was nice. Food was really tasty, I would go... More

The restaurant is in a secret ninja village so all the food is ninja related (good European Japan fusion) and the waiters call you princess (even to my 73 year old mother!) and my lord (even to a boy). Ninja magicians come to your private dining room to perform magic. It's all part of a fun dining experience. Reach out... More

Look, we didn't book this place expecting a real cultural experience - but the restaurant is a lot of fun, and the food is terrific. We were asked to book our menu ahead of time - not sure if it's because this place was just extra busy around the holidays. Our waitress (ninja guide) was lovely and we had a... More

We had recently visited the ninja themed dinner in Akasaka with our kids (ages 4-10). It's a fun themed activity if you don't mind the relatively steep price and take it for what it is -- silly fun. A "ninja" is assigned to you and is your waiter/waitress for the evening, guiding you through the dark path and over obstacles... More
