Breakfast was included in my hotel package but if you are paying yourself it is 3,800 yen for breakfast (a bit pricey). Breakfast time is 7-9:30am. The first day went around 7:15am and was seated right away but the 2nd day came around 7:45am and had to wait for around 25 minutes so plan accordingly! The Imperial Viking is located... More

We ate here each morning during our weeklong stay in Tokyo. Breakfast was included in our room rate at the Imperial Hotel. Nice selection of Japanese and European foods. Fresh baked pasteries and fresh fruit were highlights. Attentive staff, and great views from the 17th floor windows.

In Japanese restaurants, the term "Viking" refers to a buffet. The Imperial's buffet was impeccable, each table set perfectly, many with gorgeous views of the city. The food selection was quite varied and included both western and eastern dishes. There is an custom omelet bar, a vegetable/salad station, pastries, cheeses and cold cuts, the list is endless. They also serve... More

This is a large buffet with Japanese, European, and American items. The setting is beautiful and the room is well staffed. As the buffet was included in our room package I was content. However it was not the great buffet of a top hotel; if I had cone in from the outside and paid for the meal I would have... More

The breakfast selection is incredible! Delicious. Dinner buffet was also good but slightly overpriced. Our main issue was with times, breakfast opens at 7 until 9:30. Dinner ends at 9:30.

This is a pretty impressive hotel buffet, with nice views of the surrounding area. Pretty much everything was quite good, and you can ensure that a group with a diversity of taste comes away happy. It's a bit pricy (lunch was 5,500 yen/person), but considering the view, the location and the quality of food, it's worth it.

A great daily buffet breakfast. For the weekends consider going early as many locals also visit the place

Stayed at the Imperial Hotel, Tokyo, for one night prior to boarding ship for a cruise and had trouble deciding on which of the many restaurants the hotel has on offer to go to for dinner. All where fairly expensive I thought (but of course it is Tokyo) but finally decided on the Viking Sal because of the choice on... More
