As you've probably gathered from the million other good reviews this place is very popular among tourists and locals alike. The food menu and prices are all pretty good value however I noticed they charge you a lot for tea and it's not bottomless like most places in Japan The highlight of the evening is the king crab legs at... My wife Julie and I have been going to Andy's Bar since 2003, initially when we resided in Tokyo as expatriates and pretty much on a regular basis ever since we moved from Japan. The bar is nestled in the vaults under the Shinkansen train line in Yurokucho in central Tokyo and opposite the Foreign Corespondents Club building and is... More

Enormous crab legs, amazing sashimi, countless options for other fresh seafood, plus a fabulously fun and quirky British owner (Andy) make this a wonderful stop near Ginza. It's under a train track and rather hard to find but well worth any difficulty. Loud and very casual, this place has seafood to die for and a great atmosphere. Do it!

Noisy and oily atmosphere with extra fresh products, especially fish and sea food. Super friendly owner runs the show.

A friend of ours tipped us off about this place, and three of us plus her set off from Shinjuku in a taxi (quite a long ride) to try it out. Booking in advance is essential apparently, and you can see why. The restaurant was packed, buzzing with noise and activity, and with excellent fresh fish dominating the menu, and... More

This unassuming Izakaya is located under the train tracks near Yurakucho Station – it is crowded, laid back, noisy and very popular … there’s a real buzz in the restaurant when it fills up. The British born host, Andy, told us that most of the patrons we saw are regulars and have been dining there for over 10 years. I... More

Was taken here for dinner by friends living in Tokyo. Owned by a Brit and located under train tracks in Yurakucho/Ginza area, it felt authentically Japanese. It was full and my friends said they had booked it long in advance. Tasty food, especially the various sashimi, king crabs and abalone. Service was fast. The only negative was the smoke as... More

My dad brought me here on a trip to Tokyo. You'd never see this place if you walked past but what a find. Absolutely amazing food. The asparagus and scallops get a mention as for something so simple they are lovely. The King crab has to be ordered as it tastes great. Great place with great atmosphere. My favourite place...
