It's Jiro sushi. It's just great. The staff, including the main chef who is Jiro. Most of the sushi was unlike anything I have ever tasted. It was great sushi experience.

【Access】 Its in the building connected to Ginza station. So its very easy access. 【Food】 Once you sit there, you have just one manu in front of you. Either Jiro san or his son start serving you. Its Nigiri only (no tsumami), and the speed of serving the nigiri is really fast. You must keep eating. And all 20 nigiri... More

My parents gave me and my girlfriend a lunch at Jiro ginza. What should have been a highlight was a disappointment . Mr. Jiro was working on a documentary and it was going well, people were shouting at each other, the atmosphere was not nice. We had sushi of course but due to the atmosphere the taste was not as... The quality of the fish is incredible and makes price worth paying. The whole experience lasted 30 minutes and you have to eat a bit quick but at the end you can move to a table to enjoy dessert at your own pace. Beware of wasabe, it was a bit strong in some servings.

Everything they say about the quality of Sushi Giro is true. It is amazing - fresh, simple and yet complex. Very private. Only 3 out of 10 seats were taken for lunch; yet the sign outside said "Fully booked". Lunch lasted 30 minutes and cost 400 euro per person but it was worth it. Something very special. If you manage... More

The place is very small and very Japanese traditional. The don´t speak other than Japanese, I was lucky to visit with locals. The food is unbelievable!!! I cannot even describe the quality and freshness of food. The presentation and the environment is exquisite. Make sure to make your reservation with at least three months in advanced.

What a memorable experience, not comparable to the chain set up in Melbourne. Was lucky enough to be there with Jiro Ono making sushi. He is a legend, must be 92years old. Don't expect any frills, just get great sushi, a bottle of sake and leave with tastes still lingering for hours!

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? It's certainly not for everyone. To appreciate this type and quality of sushi, you really need to be a bit of a connoisseur and a deep love of sushi is definitely a prerequisite. My husband has had a lot of high quality sushi in his life and I... More

Lucky to have the first dinner service in 2017. At the age of 91, Jiro Sensei still insists to deliver the best piece of sushi. The sushi rice and the vinegary taste is nowhere can replicate. For this visit, I can still remember the taste of the kuruma ebi 車海老, katsuo bonito 鰹 かつお, akami あかみ 赤身, chutoro 中とろ and... More

Certainly worth going once for the quirky experience. Sushi was obviously top notch, but was it the best we have ever had in Tokyo? Not sure to be honest. Completely appreciate the tradition and the style of eating, that it's about concentrating on the food & the flavours rather than enjoying the atmosphere and relaxing. But we were rushed in... More
