I've eaten in this restaurant many times when I am hungry for Shabu-Shabu beef. They always have A5 beef or similar. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. The food is always excellent although I have always ordered the shabu-shabu. It comes highly recommended from friends who have lived in the Ginza district all their lives and it is their favorite... This is my third visit to Zakuro over the past 2 months. Their beef tastes so good and is worth every penny. We ordered the A4 Shabu Shabu course which features two mouthwatering appetizers and the main Shabu Shabu Pot which cooks the beef in seconds! The wagyu beef is at its peak of quality and you could taste the... More

My daughter decided to bring us to this restaurant simply because it has been around in Tokyo since 1950! We were amazed by the professionalism and friendless the staffs have offered us and made us felt we were regular customers! Food offered were excellent and yummy Remember to make your reservation especially during the winter time.

the restaurant offered cozy private rooms if you don't feel very convenient in a packed space. the staff is very helpful and very prompt in providing your requests. they understood perfect english so guests won't have to struggle in explaining. We ordered the shabu-shabu, the meat exquisitely melts in your mouth and the sauce was excellent. We would definitely be... More

We were looking for a good shabu shabu in Ginza. Unfortunately most of shabu shabu only have beef which my family doesn't eat. We prefer pork based shabu shabu. Finally found Zakuro. They do have english menu and their staff understood a bit of english. The pork shabu shabu is fantastic. We even topped up our orders with 2 more... More

The food here was good but overpriced. The staff were also slow in picking up the bill and providing change.

This is a typical Traditional Japanese restaurant serving high quality food at high prices. The shabu shabu offers different levels of Kobe beef. I would pick the regular grade. We ordered different grades and felt it wasn't worth the price difference to pay more for the higher grades. Not everything they served was high quality however. Absolutely stay away from... More

Had a tabu tabu for dinner. Food was very good. Service excellent. Meat quality super! And the price, well, it was the most expensive dinner I have had but worth of every yen.

We ordered beef steak for all three of us. The beef was tender and extremely juicy (we ordered medium rare). Our lunch set also came with sashimi and some appetiser which was really cold and refreshing. For dessert, we ordered the arrowroot noodle/jelly with brown sugar, yuzu sorbet and plum jelly. They were presented very visually appealingly and in particular... More
