Great chefs with fresh sushi. Went at 8:30 AM and line up for 30 minutes before our "breakfast" and highly entertained by the chefs!

Very good sushi at very cheap prices. However, it is not worth the queue at all. I would rather pay a little more in another equally good restaurant without the queue.

My friend and I visited this place last year. We set our alarm for 4am and off we go, arrived 45 minutes later to find out we were second in line and still had to wait for over an hour in the cold. In hindsight, we didn't regret it at all. The sushi was the best I tasted: the tuna,... More

I love sushi. But I readily admit I am no connoisseur. So I dare not pretend to be an expert judge in matters of such art and delicacy. I can merely convey my own personal experience. And Daiwa Sushi was just that - an experience. Simply presented, each piece of the "omakase" just melts in your mouth. The Uni (Sea... More

I'm a Japanese girl, who lives in Europe. I was there with my Europian Partner. I don't look a tipical japanese, and probably the Sushi chef " Taisyo" thought, that i am from somewhere else in Asia, even i spoke with my Tokyo Accent. They do really cheating jobs, unfortunately. The Chef gave me a magro ( cheap part of... More

We waited about an hour in line but it was super worth it. Crowded, authentic sushi made live at the chef's bar. Highlight for me was salmon and medium fatty tuna.

My family and I reached at 10.30am and waited for a good 60minutes (another restaurant advised us the waiting time to enter that place was 3 hours!). Well worth the wait really. The staff guided us to queue diligently in the queue which formed like a snake. Once isnide the friendly Chef advised us to take set meal (presumably offsetting... More

Hurried by staff in this assembly line operation.Line up for nothing.Sushi now not so good.Patronizing chefs tried to speak in our languages and hurry us out,It is the shop on the left hand side of the parition. The right side chefs as I remembered seems much nicer. Will not return.

We visited Daiwai sushi after checking out the tuna auction. We arrived there shortly before 7am and lined up for about 30 mins. The wait was well-worth it! The sushi was amazing. The tuna belly melted in our mouths. What an experience!

Queue is not as long as SushiDai next door but quality is not far from it , nothing beats the excitement of not knowing what's on the menu until it is served . Be there as early as you can ,say 7am

Thank Stephanie Y
