Nice ambiance and good selection of drinks. But for a non smoker the smell of smoke will be a problem.

The Bar is located in a very elegant hotel, the Westin in Ebisu. It is a great place to chill in a great hotel to lodge, as my partner and I have done many times on R&R from business in Tokyo. Service is always excellent.

“The Bar” is located in the lobby of the Westin Tokyo behind a set of glass doors between the “The Cafe” and “The Lounge”. Some may consider small but plenty of seating on comfortable bar stools and several nooks for a quiet conversation while enjoying drinks and a cigar. WiFi service offered from the “Westin Main Lobby” for internet. Service... More

This is a very good and quiet drinks-only bar. A small number of nibbles are served with your drinks, but effectively this is a place where one must take one's time to look through their large menu in order to decide what to go for. Depending on the staff at serving at the time, you might get a good set... More

Love the atmosphere and drinks over there. An excellent bar for chit chat and sometimes business talk. Music and service are both great. I went there every night each time I stayed at the hotel. One thing I hope they will improve is the snack offered with the drink, mixed nuts maybe better than the thin tasteless crackers.

It is what I would expect from a lobby bar, nice, good counter seats, intimate enough for privacy, good staff, fair measure of drinks and reasonably priced, except for the Japanese whisky's which are a bit overpriced. The sandwiches are excellent, service friendly and professional. I had bad luck with a Havana but I would think it was just that,... More

The $30 burger was worth it and the wine selection was limited but good. Just what we needed after a long day of meetings!

Intimate bar for a quick visit, piano player nightly and great views of the city. Solid scotch selection and some mixologists there. I'd visit if you are staying in the hotel for a quick drink.

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
