First the food. We ordered the HANA course for the 4 in our party. Our first course was the fresh fish carpaccio which was tasty.. The sushi and sashimi items were good but nothing exceptional. The otoro definitely did not melt in your mouth as...it should. The Oven-bake Abalone risotto stuffing was definitely not good. The shrimp item was tasty though. The Homemade tofu dish had quite a harsh taste / flavor. The asian soup of vermicelli was just bad. Bland and conflicting flavors. Tuna Spareribs. This was supposed to be a highlight. It had fishy odor. I had one bite. The Wagyu sukiyaki. Some members of my party liked the dish. I myself find the beef to be chewy with a beefy odor. I also had one bite. Second the poor hospitality. We finished our meal and the restaurant closed. It was raining. We waited outside under the awning for our cab to arrive. This was estimated to be 10-15 minutes. We were told that we could not shelter from the rain under the awning after the restaurant was closed and we need to leave the vicinity. To be fair, they gave us two umbrellas before they told us to get out. Food quality wise, definitely not worth the hype. The reviews posted here was definitely not what we experienced. Food rating: A mixed bag. Not exceptional. Not terrible. Service: Average until we were told to get out and wait for our cab in the rain elsewhere.More
