Very nice beef/Korean BBQ place on the 7th Floor of an office building in Shibuya. I had the set piece meal. Beef and vegetable dishes were excellent. Easy to navigate since the staff speaks English and they have an English menu as well. It's not...cheap eats, nor is it outlandishly expensive. All-in-all, I really enjoyed it!More

I just had the most amazing meal and service at Hanno Daidokoro Bettei. This restaurant was at the top of my list of places to try in Tokyo but on our last night visiting my fiancé got sick and couldn’t go to dinner. I decided...to go alone and it was absolutely worth it. My server Anna was amazing and walked me through the menu and how to cook the meat. I sat at the counter and watched the talented staff prepare the meats. I ordered the sampler and some lettuce for wraps and was amazed at how tender and buttery the meat was. I am visiting from Hawaii and just found out they are opening a location in Honolulu in April 2020. I can’t wait. The location was a little difficult to find. It is located on the 7th Floor. There is a Mos Burger on the ground floor and elevators right next to it. Best meal in Tokyo!! Thank you!More

A5 wagyu perfectly cut, sorted and aesthetically pleasing. Slap em on the hot grill with grilled veg of your choice, slurp up dat heart Attack in form of thinly sliced meat - wash it all down with a citrusy yuzu umeshu that will cleanse your...palate. Yummmmmm. Def worth your money and your calories. Walk it off at the hippy shops nearby afterwards. Bonus: staff can speak English. Anna was our server and she was delightful. It was an extremely lively experience as soon as we stepped through the door. We were politely greeted by the waiter and received another lively greeting by all the kitchen staff. We were seated at the bar because we didn’t have a reservation, but that...wasn’t a problem as we were able to observe the friendly environment in the kitchen. Our kind waiter Daisuke Naemura spoke coherent English and was extremely helpful in his recommendations; he even cooked our first plate to show us the ropes. Food was amazing! The wagyu beef was delicious! Although the price range was on the higher end, the quality of the meat definitely met our expectations. Would definitely come back again!More

The dinner here was the best we had in Japan (to be fair we had a very short stay). This restaurant was a little bit difficult to find, as google map started to be confused when on a narrow street. But thanks to a local...teen we finally and luckily got there. It is a small place with one row of tables and few seats at the bar. As we didn't have reservations we were seated at the bar - the advantage was to enjoy conversation and interaction with the chef (very fun guy) and be able to see what he was preparing right in front of us. Wagyu beef was very good and super fresh, we tried different varieties and options. Speaking of the price - it is very competitive, especially for the quality you get. All-in-all - five stars for this place.More

Overpriced!!! Not worth it. The portions are mini everything else is paid extra. There are better options in Tokyo.

My wife and I came to this place wanting some grilled meat. The staff was friendly and spoke English. The menu was easy to understand and the service was great. The meat quality was very good and some of the chefs from behind the counter...even gave us pointers on which sauces to use for which type of meat. The restaurant is located on the 7th Floor, so it was a little bit hard to find; just 5 minutes away from Shibuya crossing. Overall, this is a great sit-down environment, with excellent service, and great food.More

Before I left Tokyo, I wanted to eat A5 Wagyu. I did a Google search and I found this place in Shibuya, about 5 minutes from my hotel. Our server spoke english and explained the menu options and even cooked the first steak for us....We sat in front of the chef and was amazed by her skills in cutting the meat and what the meat looked like before it was pattered. We then found out they will be opening a location where I’m from, Honolulu, Hawaii in 2020! Come hungry, leave full!More
