During my trip to Tokyo, I always make it a point to dine at Sizzlers Nishi-Shinjuku when I visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. I never really ordered anything from the main courses (nothing special to rave about), but I definitely availed the Salad and Pasta Buffet. I love the range and variety of fresh vegetables and dressings. In addition,... More

Missed Sizzler since it was ceased in Singapore years back. Took the opportunity to visit this Sizzler as it is walking distance from Keio Plaza. Great service plus good food. The Yuzu grilled chicken was superb. Buffet spread just nice. Great experience for my family and I.

It an international high quality fast food. You have to choose one plate by the menù and all the rest (appetizer, rice, pasta, vegetables, fruit, sweets and drinks) is a buffet "all you can eat" including in the price of the plate chosen. Quality and genuine foods to allow oneself a pause from eastern food. Don't come too late (after... More

As a European I wasn't familiar with the Sizzler chain until I moved to Japan. It all reminds me very much of Japanese-style family restaurants with a couple of really great advantages. 1) Vegetables are expensive in Japan and here you can get an amazing, always fresh selection to fill yourself up for a relatively cheap price (dont compare with... Whilst in Shinjuku I spotted totally by accident this Sizzler's and having been to a Sizzler's in the US, thought we would give it a try. It was really good and very similar to the US format. Cool cuts, salads, chilli, pasta etc all very good and of high quality. We ordered a couple of steaks and again really good... More

The usual huge salad bar slanted towards Japanese food, but the salad bar was around $30 so I was shocked at the price. We get the same food in Bangkok Sizzler for $12.00! Very crowded, but good quality. My girlfriend ordered the fish fillet, which was excellent. One thing I really liked about their salad bar was you could make... More

We had to wait around 50 minutes to be seated on a busy Friday night, but we soon forgot about that when we began eating! My partner and I loved the all-in idea - choose your meat and potato, then help yourself to salad, sides, fruit, drinks and desserts all for the one price, which was fantastic value! Service was... Growing up in Southern California I grew up on Sizzler. It broke my heart that this chain eventually died within most of the USA. How odd was it to find a Sizzler alive and well in Tokyo's Shinjuku area and so close to our hotel. It's not the same Sizzler I remember as its evolved a little. First off no... More

With 3 young kids and a collection of various food allergies, it had been tough finding appropriate restaurants throughout Japan. Fresh vegetables are hard to find ( read impossible). Sizzlers salad bar (you can get by without the meat option$$$$) at AUD$25, offers soup, salad, tacos, pasta, dessert and coffee. Pretty good value considering you can a whole weeks worth... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
