It has a good atmosphere, nice and cozy. The service was friendly and efficient. The crepes were marvellous and were served quickly.

Stumbled across this in Kagurazawa, Tokyo's French quarter. Really friendly welcome and delicious galettes and crepes. Interesting variations too. I had scallop and bacon galette whilst my wife had smoked duck and asparagus. Both divine. Great atmosphere too. Almost all clientele Japanese so not the Western hangout you might imagine. Highly recommended.

Eat French food in Japan? Crazy as it sounds it was on our to-do list as this place serves great galletes and delicious crepes.People were queueing in the rain. We were fortunate they had seating for walk-ins because quite a number of people who were milling outside with us waiting for the cafe to open for lunch had made prior... More

It is very hard to find authentic french galettes in Japan. My friend was telling me most that they sell in Japan are already destroyed and made to taste like Japanese taste. This was a very good place to visit especially with my french friend who used to work here. I am sure that you will love coming here as... More

We enjoyed the buckwheat crepes with ham and cheese. They were delicious. The place was a bit hard to find but if you have an iPhone use the GPS to guide you. Lunch time is very crowded to expect a wait.

Lovely little cafe in Kagurazaka (look for it in the sidestreet facing the temple) serving delicious galettes. Make sure you order two - one as your main dish and another for dessert! It's a little on the pricey side, and seating is very limited. Be prepared to wait in line during weekends; my friend and I waited about an hour,... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
